Hardly what we call moving the needle, Larry.

You are going to have to handle your own penis, Hammy. No one wants anything to do with moving it for you.

You should understand this by now since clearly it has been the running theme carrying through your entire life.

He had to go searching high and low to find a right number... like Milli Vanilli!

This’s  just politics, right?

“A Morning Consult/POLITICO survey from earlier this month showed that almost one-third of Republican voters have bought into the conspiracy theory. It traffics in the same themes of election-rigging that fueled the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Republican members of Congress blocked an effort to establish a 9/11-style commission to investigate that attack. So this morning, Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that she will set up a select committee to probe the event.”

Yes, it is JUST politics. Go back and look at Jefferson and Burr and Hamilton and the way they conducted campaigns. Or check out the election of 1876, if you want to have some real fun.

Maybe you just don't have the stomach for it, Larry.

Probably you should stick to following the drama that surrounds James Dolan wherever he goes or just hang in some other echo chamber where your fear, loathing, and anxiety can be accommodated by fellow weasels.

From that Brandeis University Big Book of Oppressive Language.

Using the term "trigger warning" is not warranted as it is rooted in the language of guns.
That is interesting to know and a fact I can consider if I consciously opt to use the phrase. Which is what the Brandeis document is for. Good job Brandeis!

Some of it was useful,  like the misappropriation of "spirit animal, " which really does trivialize and misrepresent  a sacred experience of indigenous people.   But the recommendation on not saying "rule of thumb, " and some others,  struck me as a little goofy.   And using violent phrases equivalent to "you did a good job! " does not strike me as an endorsement of murder or mayhem.

Just saying, people can bring an overly earnest attitude to this stuff.   And anyone who disagrees should be taken out and shot!

I thought it was written by The Onion.

I thought the sophomoric attempt by pretentious woke shits to neuter language that people understand is offensive.

Oops can I say neuter?

That might be too violent, and perhaps too male-oriented identity-based language and might trigger emotional distress to the recipient of the message.

According to the Protocols of the Woke students of Brandeis, using the term African-American isn't cool, because not all A-As are/were from Africa, ok, but Brandeis's approved alternative of "Black" seems to dismiss those who are of mixed color and not Black, but rather, brown, tan, mocha-color, or high-yellow. So "People of color" would seem to be a fine alternative, right?

Nope!

That's oppressive too.

Go figure

But you gotta be a Chinese kid from MIT, with a fucking super-computer, or abacus, to play with all the words, definitions, iterations, and origins and then compute the potential meanings and who might take something the wrong way, in a way it was not intended,  to fucking figure this shit out.

Or you could let people speak what's on their mind in the way they want to communicate, with their chosen words, and listen to them and hear their message and then you do the same thing. And you might tell them in response their use of "you fucking retard" my not be appropriate, and perhaps, "you dumb fuck" might be a better choice.

If you're hurt by the someone's use of a word, I'd say all things considered, that not so terrible a price to pay, considering the most extreme alternatives of ignorance, of just going back to grunting and bashing the brains in of a member of a different tribe.

I hope the fucking Brandeis retards are woke enough to understand and accept they will be mocked for their list.

I suspect I will too.

BFD

Maybe it should be "tigger warning", because as the kids may remember, Tigger was a friendly tiger, not prone to violence, but he often showed up without warning, and in a way that many found off-putting.

Then again, we can learn a lot from Winnie the Pooh and friends about....

wait for it....

PTSD!!!

The animals of the Hundred Acre Wood imperceptibly introduce children to the intricacies of the adult world. But I bet you did not realize that each beloved character could also be interpreted as illustrating certain symptoms of post-traumatic stress. Their most exaggerated personality characteristics can actually be seen as common responses to trauma and, even though we are not kids anymore, they can teach us a lot.

All three Portland police precincts have seen a rise in gun violence but data shows the neighborhoods most impacted are in north and east Portland.

In 2020, there were 438 shootings in Portland's east precinct, almost half the total for the entire city. Of those, more than 200 took place in just three neighborhoods: Centennial, Hazelwood and Powellhurst-Gilbert.

As shootings increase, so do homicides. Through the first five months of 2021, there have been 38 killings. Over the same period last year, there were six. ...Last June, Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler disbanded the Portland Police Bureau's gun violence reduction team (GVRT). The team was tasked with investigating shootings but critics said it led to the over-policing of people of color...Neighborhoods across the Portland metro area have seen an uptick in gun violence, but communities of color have been disproportionately impacted.

...Activists, youth mentors and community leaders agree there is no easy answer to stop Portland’s gun violence. But those who work with people closest to the crisis and have decades of life experience suggest there are viable solutions — if the community is willing to make the investment.

Interesting piece that drills down into the violence within that community and some of the politics involved.

Caught: https://news.yahoo.com/florida-cop-shooting-suspect-linked-044513292.html

A suspect sought in connection with Wednesday’s gunshot wounding of Daytona Beach, Florida, police Officer Jayson Raynor has been apprehended following a manhunt that involved the FBI, according to reports.

Daytona Beach police Chief Jakari Young tweeted early Saturday that suspect Othal Toreyane Resheen Wallace, 29, known as "O-Zone," had been taken into custody.

At a news conference later Saturday morning, the chief said Wallace had been captured around 2:30 a.m. Saturday while hiding in a tree house, in a wooded area in DeKalb County, Georgia, east of Atlanta.

Wallace was found with multiple weapons as well as body armor, the chief said, according to the Daytona Beach News-Journal.

The property where Wallace was found was owned by militant group NFAC (Not F---ing Around Coalition), the chief said, according to the newspaper.

Wallace had been wanted on charges of attempted first-degree murder of a law enforcement officer with a firearm, an FBI post on Twitter said Friday night.

The suspect's Facebook page suggested he was linked to the groups NFAC Black Militia, the New Black Panther Party, and the Atlanta chapter of the Huey P. Newton Gun Club, which is named for a founder of the 1960s-era Black Panthers, the News-Journal reported.

I saw a young woman on the Channel 5 television news who was a foster child who aged out of the system without ever getting adopted, and she ended up homeless. She felt alone and ashamed, and she felt like there was something wrong with her, then people came to help her and told her that there are a lot of foster youth who age out of the system without getting adopted who are homeless. A group helped her, and now she is working to help other foster youth.

Look at what happened to the nation as a result of the deal struck between Tilden and Harrison.

Yes. And that was a corrupt GOP cutting a deal with vengeful Southern Dems. And then things got worse, as Garfield got shot by a lunatic who was inflamed by the same corrupt GOP, and he might have been a Lincoln-like President, given his broad appeal and his commitment to civil rights in that era. he might have survived, but it was not to be, because he had doctors who had yet to be convinced by Joseph Lister that they should disinfect their hands before attending to a wound, and if they had listened to Alex Bell and his special machine, a metal detector he'd worked feverishly to invent and tried to find the bullet that laid inside Garfield. The problem, though, was not the bullet. It was the infection that initiated from the doctors' hands probing for it.

Politics, arrogance, and lunacy.

Meanwhile, Austria has taken Italy to extra time after two scoreless halves.

No one saw that one coming.

I wrote a movie about a foster youth who ages out of the system without getting adopted, she suffered abuse, and she ends up as a porn star on drugs. She becomes the number one porn star in the world, with a nice house, and money, but my movie is a tragedy, like with Marilyn Monroe. Hugh Hefner loved Marilyn, and Hef loved my script, and he was going to put up the money if Oliver Stone would have directed my movie. But Oliver rejected it, and Hef backed out. I need to find someone else like Hef who has the money to make movies who can help to get my movie made. And I need an agent to submit it to Netflix, etc. We will see what happens.
