Brown people don't know what to do with money

Oh?

Really? Is the money going only to brown people, dumbfuck? Who the fuck injected race into the conversation? YOU!

Go fuck your highway cow, you simple shit.

If a tax credit were just  going to the middle class,  would you have asked how they were spending it?   What makes you so transparent is that you only ask snide questions like that when minorities would see the most benefit.  And you selected an article with a picture of black people.

Your subtext is always pretty obvious.   If you really can't see it,  then I am sorry for your lack of self awareness.

The arrogance that oozes from you is only superceded by your ignorance.

It's a legitimate question based on behavior economics.

Prove otherwise.

For the people who want to travel and see the USA this summer, Greyhound is great. I rode Greyhound from Nevada to Florida, and then from Florida back to Nevada, and it was a great trip. I also traveled on Greyhound from Anaheim to San Diego and back, and from Lancaster, California to Albany, Oregon. I always had a good experience with Greyhound.

Greyhound is great, it is a great way to see the USA.

Behavioral economics:

How could this man, jobless and staying at a homeless shelter, afford a smartphone? He and other shelter residents can have smartphones courtesy of a government program called Lifeline.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) implemented the Lifeline program in 1984 to help low-income households with what was deemed an essential service: phone access. It originally covered a small portion of low-income residents’ landline phone bills. But, over time, the program ballooned, with greater benefits for an ever-increasing number of people — now, many low-income people qualify for free smart phones with free or very cheap service plans, complete with unlimited talk and text and free data. The government imposes a tax on phone companies to pay for the program. The phone companies then pass the expense to their customers via the Universal Service Fund, an additional charge on every conventional customer’s phone bill.

That night, I spoke with two other residents interested in joining the Forge, the shelter’s long-term men’s program. I encouraged their interest — what could be better for these men than a program that promoted virtue, work, and self-sufficiency? But both expressed trepidation, which I pressed them on: Why choose the path of chronic homelessness over the path out of poverty? Both men cited the same reason: “I couldn’t give up my cell phone.”

Y’all (and you know who I mean) still want to laugh at “Achtung, bitches?”

“Milley described “a stomach-churning” feeling as he listened to Trump’s untrue complaints of election fraud, drawing a comparison to the 1933 attack on Germany’s parliament building that Hitler used as a pretext to establish a Nazi dictatorship.

This is a Reichstag moment,” Milley told aides, according to the book. “The gospel of the Führer.”

You do realize the “insurrection” is an ongoing situation?

Achtung, bitch.

Stand by for the insurgency.

FUN stuff, Larry.

But, there's a forum for it. You ought to go there where it was already posted earlier today.

Or you could admit you made a mistake.

Like that will ever happen.

Heh

I don’t go to the previous guy’s forum. I posted this information here, right where I meant to.

Compounding your error.

Compounding your bullshit.

Behavioral economics also tackles why you have been drinking highly leaded water for so many years with effects evident in your discourse.

Your half-understood scavenging of academic terms to fashion your badly crafted hobgoblins is tiresome.

Your discomfort with evolutions in our culture speaks only well of those things that upset you.

You are a wrongheaded asshole.

A well functioning world does nothing but check you at every turn.

Hammy, we all know you post on a lifeline phone.

It’s not why your posts are so bad.

The thing you should blame is yourself.

Totally ignores human nature and what is off kilter in their lives in the first place. Same reason a lot of missionaries ended up as the main course.

Night Patrol by Robert Cray Band 1980s

See him huddled in the shadows
Sleepin' on his cardboard bed
Using rags for a pillow
Where he lays his unwashed head
His blanket's old newspaper
Not much good against the snow
See so many like him out there
When you walk the night patrol
When you walk the night patrol

Oh, you wonder where he came from
Where he's gonna go
Was it a woman or a bottle?
That's brought him down so low
What's happened to his family?
Do they know he's out here in the cold?
He's just a nameless soldier
Marching on the night patrol
Marching on the night patrol

The Dying Hobo multiple sources including my Dad - Depression era

”Beside a Western water tank one cold December day
Inside an empty boxcar, a dying hobo lay
His partner stood beside him with a low and bowed down head
Listening to the last words that the dying hobo said

‘I am going to a better land where everything is bright
Where handouts grow on bushes and you sleep out every night
And you never have to work at all, and never change your socks
And the little streams of whiskey come trickling down the rocks

Tell all the boys in Frisco town my trade is almost due
Tell them I caught a fast train and I'm going straight on through
Yes, tell them not to weep for me, no tears in my eyes must blur
I'm going to a better land where they hate the word called work

Oh! hark, I hear the whistling, I'll catch her on the fly
Just one more scoop of beer I'd like, once more before I die’
Then the hobo stopped, his head fell back, he'd sung his last refrain
And his partner took his hat and shoes and caught the Eastbound train.”

Zero.

That's just you failing to follow what's been clearly articulated.

What you posted was bullshit from an author who hold the people she purports to lift up in contempt. Just like you.

“What exactly caused the American homeless rate to reach and sustain such heights? Some have cited the shutting of mental hospitals in the 1970s. Others have pointed to the lack of safety nets for military veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Still others have called out urban housing prices and cuts in government subsidies for affordable housing. Blaming the homeless, too, is not uncommon—bad choices, substance abuse, or a preference for life on the street are all popular explanations.

But the statistical realities of homelessness upend many common assumptions about its causes, and how best to address it. Two-thirds of all homeless are single adults, while the remaining third are made up of families and unaccompanied youths. Most “self-resolve,” or exit homelessness within a few days or weeks—in fact, only about 16 percent are chronically homeless. And while there are 190,000 visible homeless each night on the street in the United States, many more live in shelters or are otherwise hidden from public view—sleeping in  cars, for example. Most often, popular perceptions of exactly why a person might be homeless are driven by those who are most visible, and by their portrayals in the media.”
