Wanting Breyer to step down is hardly just the hope of those you deem the “woke.”

Hamster -- I apparently mistook your sudden interest in behavioral economics.  I see now that you love the poor and give them food rather than money (which they would foolishly squander on cellphone upgrades).

Oh and thanks for the cow fucking suggestion.   Turned out great -- a mooooving experience!

Meanwhile, in the land of the emu...Prime Minister 'ScoMo' has today unveiled ..."vaccine passports in a 'four-phase plan' to Covid-normal."
***
"From free flights to free beer, some of Australia's biggest companies are serving up incentives to lift jab rates".
French and Aussies are different.
French are rioting against vaccination passports...but Aussies are loving them, preferential treatment for those who risked possible blood clots and death by answering the "Call To Arms".

Ginsburg had the right outlook.’I’ll retire on my terms.’
Breyer is right to say the same.

Democrats passed the most pro-health anti-crime legislation since the Great Society stuff in the 60’s.

Republicans are doing a death cult.

You say you help give food to the less fortunate... can they tell how much contempt you have for them?

Zero.

That's just you failing to follow what's been clearly articulated.

Face it. You're dumb, Larry.

And you know shut about human nature.

More FUN.

What you posted was bullshit from an author who hold the people she purports to lift up in contempt. Just like you.

“What exactly caused the American homeless rate to reach and sustain such heights? Some have cited the shutting of mental hospitals in the 1970s. Others have pointed to the lack of safety nets for military veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Still others have called out urban housing prices and cuts in government subsidies for affordable housing. Blaming the homeless, too, is not uncommon—bad choices, substance abuse, or a preference for life on the street are all popular explanations.

But the statistical realities of homelessness upend many common assumptions about its causes, and how best to address it. Two-thirds of all homeless are single adults, while the remaining third are made up of families and unaccompanied youths. Most “self-resolve,” or exit homelessness within a few days or weeks—in fact, only about 16 percent are chronically homeless. And while there are 190,000 visible homeless each night on the street in the United States, many more live in shelters or are otherwise hidden from public view—sleeping in  cars, for example. Most often, popular perceptions of exactly why a person might be homeless are driven by those who are most visible, and by their portrayals in the media.”

Bartlett - with the help from Josh Lyman and Donna's mom - got it right

- and we got Chief Justice Glenn Close and Justice Guy from Perfect Storm

Ain't that hard.  Tied it all up in one hour.

See, Larry, poor racist poverty shaming Forrest is incapable of understanding the huge problems with anecdote as evidence. Not only does it generalize from a very small sample size - something Forrest of all people should know about - it is highly susceptible to both selection bias and wishful imagining. That is, the writer at the very least selected the people to report on based not on the prevalence of their responses in the sample size, but their usefulness to make her point - and reported their responses in a way to perfect, or perhaps even invent, their relevance to her point (which does not even appear to be about "behavioral economics".). Moreover it bqses its conclusions without any concern about the perfectly valid reasons why homeless people may not want to give up their only means of communicating with family or loved ones, or potential employers, or medical personnel. The, to be charitable, well meaning but condescending author of the piece and the racist condescending idiot who posted it here has determined it is merely a material possession with no consideration of the role it might play in the lives of others.
