THIS is the problem with your "I wear a mask when legally obligated to do so" attitude, Kid. We don't wear them to protect ourselves, primarily. We wear them to protect others.
Well, no - initially it was both
Now you ask that everyone mask up to protect those that refuse vaccination, though you at the same time DESTROY those same people with your commentary here.
CDC is now allowing those who are vaccinated to enter stores without masks. Do you disagree with this? Will you automatically agree with a Democratically ruled state/city that wishes to go against the CDC? Why?
I do disagree with it. I think it is foolish and short-sighted, a response to what the people think they want without regard for what is happening.
There is a reason that LA has gone back to COVID protocols and places like Missouri and Mississippi are reconsidering their positions.
I was at an event today in NH where there were 80+ people. Two of us had masks. One of us was wearing it.
I think they're nuts and I overwhelmingly kept my distance from them. Yes, it was outside, but what we are seeing from the Delta variant is that outside and 6 feet and 15 minutes are
not sufficient guidelines with Delta.
Would that it were otherwise.
The US is about to extend the closure of the border with Canada, even as they are opening up their side for US folks to go there. I have a friend trapped on that side of the border and I wish they could come down here - but I am
not advocating for it, because I think it is a reasonable position.
It's not what Biden says or does. It's what the virus does.
