 On my tv it was stated that "if the millions and millions" of Americans who are not Covid vaccinated don't get vaccinated soon, by October, 9 short weeks away...the daily death toll from the virus will be at the same level as it was at the height of the pandemic.
Americans really have no excuses not to get vaccinated...as there are safe vaccines.

Please tell me that healthy people in America have not been dying from "rare blood clotting" after Covid vaccination.

It’s really the Americans who would rather listen to your #1 radio host rather than punch him in his ugly stupid face that are the bulk of the problem. The rest of us are for the most part vaccinated already.

“Speaker Pelosi’s rejection of the Republican nominees to serve on the committee and self-appointment of members who share her pre-conceived narrative will not yield a serious investigation.

“The Speaker has structured this select committee to satisfy her political objectives. She had months to work with Republicans on a reasonable and fair approach to get answers on the events and security failures surrounding January 6.

“Instead, she has played politics. Lost in much of the news coverage is the fact that the Senate has already conducted bipartisan investigations that should serve as a roadmap for the House.

“Speaker Pelosi’s departure from this serious-minded approach has destroyed the select committee’s credibility. The U.S. Capitol and the men and women who protect it suffered a massive leadership failure. We must make sure that never happens again and that is what Republicans will be focused on.”

No matter what the Democrats do to appease the GOP the GOP cannot be appeased.

I view it as trying to add flavors other than the same old plus trying to appeal to the now-disaffected GOP, to try to keep them disaffected.

These guys voted to throw out the election results, then they started white washing 1/6 and now they’re passing legislation across the nation to create barriers to voting.

Who are we trying to appeal to?

The departure from the serious-minded approach came when McCarthy tried to put Jim Jordan on the Committee. Actually, no it would be when McCarthy rejected the bipartisan 9/11 Commission his own appointed Representative negotiated.
