Lets accept as fact that the messaging about masks and social distancing has been less than clear, as we learned about how covid-19 spreads. We learned what seemed to work and what didn't. And common sense examining behavior and the #s seemed to show masks and SD had an effect reducing illness from covid.
However, last summer, as we started to get a handle on covid, masks and SD were mocked and politicized and the disease spread again.
And now many have seen positive results from getting vacced.
It seems mostly the unvacced (90-95%) are still getting infected by covid.
The vaccs seems to be effective.
Today we are seeing a bifurcation of the disease, running along vacced and unvacced populations. And it seems those pops are similarly divided by political beliefs.
This partisan bullshit will enable an apolitical virus to eventually mutate quicker than our ability to guess its next mutation and develop another vaccine.
Now normally I wouldn't care if Repub neanderthals self-select against a vacc and for the virus, if they catch the flu so what, I won't. But the damn thing is, this virus gives you more than a body aches and fever for a few days, and those fucking neanderthals and their stupid fucking superstitions are a threat to modern man.
If they want to die, that's fine, let's just shoot them, and at least we will provide less lead time for the virus to use that host body to mutate and open up our health providers time and energy and free up hospital beds, that are being used by partisan morons too stupid to get a shot.
If Red and the Repubs, wants to politcize this as Biden's fault for some political game, they will, and they'll piss away more time and more people will get sick and die as the next iteration of covid mutates in the unvacced pawns.
Or they can message to the pawns to get vaccinated.
