Pretty sure Walensky was well aware of those numbers when she recommended masks, and accounted for them in her recommendations. Red is simply incapable of looking at them in anything other than a surface way.

Barton explained why even with those numbers you are going to start wearing a mask again in public spaces and gatherings. Vaccinated people still contract & spread Delta even though they don’t get very sick themselves. We’ll wear masks to protect sucker republicans so they can persist in nihilism that along with their racism feeds their fascism. Because lots of people think even racist fascist republicans deserve a right to live even though they don’t recognize a similar right for anyone else.
