First trip to the MSNBC website - good piece

https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/olympic-athlete-laurel-hubbard-just-shattered-transphobic-myth-n1275693?icid=msd_botgrid

But isn't QUINN of the Canadian soccer team also "transgender"?  Maybe we need some other wording to separate groups.

It didn't happen, but it's largely true.

His supporters mostly don't mind if he crosses the line for the good of all.
How is giving unelected bureaucrats the power to seize private property “ for the good “of anybody.?

It wasn't - it was an elected official who did it, Ward.

His name is Joe Biden.

Perhaps you've heard of him.

However, we've been allowing unelected bureaucrats the power to seize private property for as long as we've had a country, so somebody must have thought it was a good idea.

The police and, in many states, judges do it all the time! So does the IRS and each state's and municipality's tax collectors. Nor are they the only ones.

You only object to this one because it's being done by a Democratic administration, no matter how you may try to claim otherwise.

Eminent domain is a pretty well established governmental right to choke on the gnat now.
Then you don’t understand eminent domain.

Overheard yesterday -

The COVID-19 rate was no higher in the Florida counties NOT requiring masks in schools than it was in masked districts...

As you were...

But as it happens, it's flat wrong.

There were four counties which required masking the children in school, at a casual glance at the news:
Palm Beach, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Okeechobee. Each of them was below the state average for COVID-19 case percentages as of the most recent report (see link below).

This is understandable in 3 of the cases as possibly directly tied to their high (for Florida) vaccination rates, but...  Okeechobee's vax rate is 2/3rds or less of the other three counties' rates and the state's rate as a whole, but their COVID-19 case rate is well below the average for the state.

But given that Governor DeSantis has instructed that school-specific data cease being released and even told some counties to stop releasing their data, the Florida information that you are relying on seems likely to be distorted in his favor - and it still doesn't show what you suggest!

https://news.yahoo.com/moderna-recommends-third-shot-vaccine-142700542.html

Moderna said Thursday that people will likely need a COVID-19 vaccine booster dose to protect against future mutations of the coronavirus, touting the “robust” antibody response generated by the additional shot.

Vaccine developers at Moderna “are looking forward towards our vision of a single dose annual booster that provides protection against COVID-19, flu and [respiratory syncytial virus] for adults. … We believe this is just the beginning,” CEO Stephane Bancel said.

COVID-19 HOSPITALIZATIONS AT RECORD HIGHS IN SEVERAL SOUTHERN STATES AMID DELTA SURGE

The company has conducted studies to determine the benefits of administering a third “booster” shot of its two-dose vaccine to protect against the highly contagious delta variant that accounts for a majority of COVID-19 cases, as well as any future strains of the virus that develop.

Moderna’s Phase 2 trial of a 50-microgram booster dose generated a strong immune response against the delta, gamma, and beta variants — all of which seem to spread more easily and quickly than other variants, which could lead to more COVID-19 outbreaks. The third dose produced an antibody response nearly as strong as the response generated in previously unvaccinated people who received the first two doses of the vaccine.

The company also reported that its two-dose vaccine created lasting immunity months after receiving the second shot. The vaccine was still 93% effective after six months, compared to an efficacy rate of about 94% two weeks after received the second shot.

Of course this headline is a bit misleading

MIAMI (AP) — Despite a ban by Gov. Ron DeSantis, two Florida school districts have decided to require masks when children return to classrooms because of dramatic rises in coronavirus infections, with the state leading the country in hospitalizations.

School boards in Duval County, home to Jacksonville, and Alachua County, home to Gainesville, made the decision based on rising hospitalizations and new cases of the coronavirus. The surge has hit parts of northeast Florida particularly hard.

The Duval County School Board voted late Tuesday to require students to wear masks unless parents submit paperwork to opt out. The Alachua County board said it had voted to require masks for the first two weeks of school, adding that the decision will be reevaluated in two weeks. Students in both districts go back to school next Tuesday.

“We applaud the school boards of Alachua and Duval County for listening to and following the advice of the doctors in their community,” the Florida Education Association said in a statement. “We hope other school districts will also heed the advice of the trusted medical professionals.

Eminent domain is a pretty well established governmental right to choke on the gnat now.
Then you don’t understand eminent domain.
Or you don't.
Quite the contrary.
But the CDC’s actions have nothing to do with eminent domain.
