Your flippancy is noted. It's rooted in your antisemitism.

He’s talking about your tinfoil hat, Fido. Cease and desist.

Try to keep up.

You don't have to play monkey every time Larry grinds his organ, chimp.
And you don't have to be a racist shit dog ass hole to everyone, but that never stops you, Forrezt.

And you need a new act, Stalinist.

Motherfucking Moderate Democrats trying snatch defeat... as usual:

I understand the concept of half a loaf is better than no loaf exception this situation getting the whole loaf is ENTIRELY WITHIN YOUR GRASP!

Stupid but normal for moderates who negotiated against themselves with the ACA and gave the nation half of what was needed and cost themselves the majority in the midterms of 2010...

We could use MMD as a new forum abbrev. -- like LPC.

However, I gotta say I do want to see some of the infra bill pass quickly, given its urgently needed boost to electrics, and to help with affordable housing.

I'm not sure this would really be half a loaf, with no hope of the other half.  It might actually grease the wheels a bit on the reconciliation upcoming.

YMMV.

The Biden administration can recognize states of emergency across much of the country for extreme weather events like fires and floods to start getting funds moving while legislators pass the infrastructure bills America needs, not just the one supported by the few very sanest republicans and MMDs.

That’s how they can put appetizers out for the needed nutritious three course meal.

And led to Trump.

Still throwing tantrums? it's what you do. Why are you so fearful of passing the first part of the legislation and putting people to work? Oh, yeah. You don't work.

6000 more troops and 6-8 months and we can get this thing done correctly.

Thoughts?

Not the weirdest idea to fly straight out of your asshole, even though there’s no foundation to the notion, none at all.

What "thing"? What do you see those troops doing?

Exactly what the aim of the current forces is

With fewer risks

And without the tail between the legs appearance.
If we cannot get people out with the current forces and timeline, there is nothing increasing the forces and lengthening the timeline will do. It is not like we will be putting a military mission into Kabul itself to rescue refugees.

"All refugees landing here (including in NJ) will be vetted"

Are we believing this?

'It seems to me, I've heard that song before...'

From 2012

"The now-retired commanders who pressed Obama to surge in 2009 — Gen. Stanley McChrystal, Gen. David Petraeus, and Adm. Mike Mullen — all insisted at the time that more troops, coupled with a protect-the-population counterinsurgency strategy, would have a good chance of turning around a failing war."

That's a fascinating chart, Kid!

Informative, certainly

I know you meant to thank me

If you cannot infer "thanks" from the compliment that it is fascinating, I apologize for my overestimation of your emotional savvy.

Thank you for posting the KFF link. I appreciate your action and their creation of such a thing. I will always be grateful for your posting links to their site (so long as it is not the same link again and again).

I would love to know your reaction to it, to my analysis of the data, and to the additional chart I posted.

Thank you.

I don't think there is a "correctly."

It might see us able to get the rest of the folks who we ought to be evacuating out. It might not.

I think trying to do it after the Taliban has taken over our bases, the cities, and much of our weaponry seems hazardous at best and am unconvinced that is is fair or wise to ask of our soldiers.
