Because it's not just global warming, for all that that's driving the process, overall.

In some places, they are not seeing the same temperature changes that many of us, but they are seeing the big weather changes that mean more and/or more extreme storms and flooding. In some places, the glaciers have not retreated, but have grown - not many, but enough that it needs to be included in the discussion.

One of the models has projected that the melting ice from Greenland could (further) disrupt the Gulf Stream, leading to  additional climate and sea level changes, among other things. (Okay, so the prediction of that tipping point is still quite a ways off. Still...)

I've shifted to Climate Crisis as more accurate than either Global Warming or Climate Change.

GLOBAL WARMING, while true, sounds far too benign, a day at the beach as it were.

Its sad that Red is so invested in mining political capital from the victims of 20 years of questionable US foreign policy. And policy that those in charge knew early on was destined to fail. As for global wetting/warming/change/crisis and Gilead's draconian war on women, its topical. They've been discussed on most non-Fox platforms. I guess Red missed it.
