I support giving everyone at least 2 free years of college, and the colleges need to prepare people for jobs that are available in each area, plus train people for the jobs of the future. The people who are high achievers in college can continue on for their Bachelor's Degree, and Master's Degree, and they can become doctors, etc.

There needs to be good councilors at the community colleges to help to guide the students so that they get the most out of their 2 free years of college. The councilors need to be aware of which businesses are in each area and which skills are needed for employment in each area, etc.

The students who go to school, and who study hard, need to be rewarded with access to good employment and a chance at the American Dream of home ownership, etc.

I'll give them two years of free college, after two years of their free community service.

Try flipping the order so we receive more valuable service from the participants since once they have their two year they can do service that requires their training once they have it - looking at you med techs

Another route would be a 4 year program that got you two years of school while you are doing your service. That can work as well.

Anyone willing to shlep up front for schooling on the back end is already doing it through the armed services.

I'd like to buy a holiday apartment in NYC for $50...and the same in Vegas...but not everyone in the world can have whatever they want.
Not everyone in Mexico, Central America, South America, Africa, Middle East, Asia, can migrate to America illegally or legally.
Those places have been heartbreaking for a very, very long time...it's nothing new.

More interesting is that Fox gained viewers over the second quarter while MSNBC and CNN shed them.
