For some reason when I try to go to Facebook it goes to Search, the other pages work, You Tube works, Elba works, but Facebook goes to the Search page, it will not load the Facebook page. Any ideas on what is happening? Is there something that I need to do to make it work? Is it just a temporary glitch?

Yesterday I drove thru the Black Forest in Germany with a non-relationship couple, the young female a photographer, very nice scenery.

Today I walked around Portsmouth New Hampshire ... very historical, very clean, very orderly, quaint shops, ...after a van life older gal was able to park her van life home on the street near water and a park, overnight.
Her problem was that the solar power system in her van was failing and her expert RV guys were in LA. She was using portable powers source devices charged from her van as she drove around.

Am I being in any way inaccurate or a tad too harsh?

The leaders of that sect are the scum of the earth.   The idea that womens rights are only a pressing issue in faraway countries is a harebrained notion that needs to be debunked.  We have Taliban in America.

A group of Point Park University students in Pittsburgh launched a petition to have their fellow classmate banned from campus after he criticized the school's pronoun policy.

Campus Reform Correspondent and Point Park University student Logan Dubil was met with a petition from his classmates to school administrators that demanded his removal from campus for criticizing the university's "Misgendering, Pronoun Misuse, and Deadnaming Policy," which Fox News previously reported.

The petition, which has now been deleted and was created by "Max," appeared on Change.org and claimed "Dubil and others like him are the scum of the Earth," according to Campus Reform.

"We need to remove Logan Dubil from campus as well as others like him who refuse to respect other people pronouns," the petition stated. The petition referenced a policy from the university that requires students to address classmates by their preferred pronouns.

There has been an oil spill off of the coast of Orange County, we are angry to say the least. They think that a ship caught the oil pipe with an anchor and caused the leak. They need to stop the ships from dropping their anchors where the oil pipes are. It should be common sense. People need to be held accountable, and we need to prevent oil spills like this from happening in the future. We have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world here in Orange County, we need to clean this oil up, and we need to prevent oil spills in the future. And the ships need to be aware of where they are dropping their anchors.

In Italy the people all walk, and they use public transportation, and in the city they ride mopeds, we can do the same thing here in Anaheim. We can walk to buy groceries, and we can walk to the pharmacy, and in the evenings we can go for strolls and we can hang out in the public courtyards, etc.

People are getting fat and lazy. And the Italians have a longer life expectancy. Americans need to eat healthier, and we need to give up our cars and we need to get out and walk. And people need to get to know their neighbors, and it is healthy like was proven by the people of Roseto, Pennyslvania.

I do my part by getting out and walking instead of driving a car. Like in Rome, in Rome no one owns a car. Anaheim needs to be more like Rome.

And meanwhile, the ships need to be careful where they drop their anchors.

Gmail and youboob were also down.   This DNS glitch was pretty widespread if that's what it was.   The wife's laptop went a little crazy with error messages and what looked like a possible phishing scam.   Y'all may want to go to your browser settings menu,  delete your cache,  cookies,  and browser history for at least the past 24 hours (it should give you time frame options).

I suspect the problem is with a DNS server, which FB tried to reconfigure and something crashed.  Which means that people who had FB addresses (the numerical ones that get stored in your cache and are usually good for 48 hours,  because web addresses use dynamic IP numbers) used in the previous 48 hours will be likely to have fewer problems.   Unless, of course, all the IP numbers were dumped and replaced in the process,  which would make more of a logjam as the user tries to translate the domain name they are seeking.  And there's essentially no directory to convert that name into the needed numerical string.

DNS is what they are saying, but (a) it was a very long outage for a DNS problem and (b) it brought down at least 5 apps and I would not have thought they were all on the same DNS server set.

Maybe we will find out what happened. Maybe we won't.

But its functionality is mostly restored. (And loss of some functionality is another reason I am suspicious of their claim!)

They do everything in their power to prevent boats and ships rupturing oil pipelines with their anchors.

Everything they do taken together did not work.

If we stop pumping that oil it ceases to be a problem. Their are more profitable and less problematic uses for those platforms.

Oil is going to die like coal just not soon enough to keep things from getting really ugly.

Perhaps you could explain briefly why you want unlimited credit, or the venture you have in mind which requires funding, how much you need to immediately fund it, and how you plan to repay the debt? And do you consider yourself a good credit risk for a bank to put its capital at risk?

bambu bank would be happy to give you unlimited credit...if you had unlimited assets held by the bank as security.

A Manager I had was giving anyone and everyone $5,000 unsecured personal loans, late 60s early 70s.
Of course it ended badly, as it was always going to do.
Word got around...people were getting said unsecured personal loans [manager's numbers were looking great] ...making several monthly payments then going back to/to their homeland to live, taking the bank's 'gift' with them...or just stopped making payments, hoping the bank would write the loans off as bad debts.

That Freddie Mac and Fanny May or whatever they were, a perfect example of poor lending practices.
Would've been better off giving people loans for caravans to live in, something they could've afforded.

Van lifers with not much money, today, are buying old vans for cash and living in them.
