Ditto US President Joe Biden.  He is very unlikely to be running America in 2050. He too can promise whatever he likes for the US, sign up to whatever climate things and promise whatever emissions targets he likes.

He is not running it now, according to some.

So according to Pete Buttigieg our supply chain headaches result from too much demand. And, of course, that is due to the great economic policies of Joe Biden.
Uh huh.
Those packed and backed up ships sitting in ports suffer delays because they are bringing in record amounts of goods.
Not because there is a shortage of workers to unload them and drive the goods to stores, etc.
That is the assessment of the poster child for the Alphabet People now that he has finally returned to his job as Transportation Director after two months of maternity leave.
If Biden gets his trillions of dollars bills through Congress we can look forward to months of paid leaves  as a new  right for millions of Americans.
We can all work and shop from home and the ships will be backed up all the way to China.

Since you like comparing real life to a television show you should watch the final episode of Dinosaurs.
