On the cursing professor,  I dont think its a partisan perspective to see white people are villains as a cheap shot that will polarize young college kids.   Add the cursing at students and you have a clear breach of professionalism.  Several of us here have done some teaching and I would think understand what does not work in a classroom.   It is not a real fascinating topic for me,  so thats my two cents.

Poor people in Los Angeles are going to get $1000 per month from the City.

People on Social Security in California right now only get $900 per month, and they live on it with the help of Section 8 Housing, and Medi-Cal. But, you cannot smoke cigarettes, and you cannot own a car. You need to walk, and ride a bicycle, and ride the bus, it is hard to live on $900 per month. But, people survive.

The poor people can easily live on $1000 per month if they have help with housing, and medical insurance, and as long as they do not smoke or own a car.

For people who are out there homeless on the streets, $1000 per month and an apartment and medical insurance would be like a life of luxury. It is so miserable to be out there homeless and hungry, and you feel like no one cares. Giving them $1000 per month and an apartment and bringing them back into society and showing people that we are a good Christian nation and we care about people. Giving the homeless people in Los Angeles a free apartment and $1000 per month is a great idea. It will help people a lot.

The new tower on Skid Row sounds like a good idea. I worked at Empire West in West Hollywood as a doorman / valet for Suzanne Pleshette and we had zero crime, you can have doormen and security guards, and cameras, and there can be special help for the poor such as crisis intervention specialists, etc, and you can keep the crime at zero. The poor people can live just like the rich people, they can have doormen and security, etc.

And Skid Row needs to be cleaned up, and there needs to be new landscaping, etc. They can put in cobblestones, and they can have water fountains with statues, and trees can be planted, etc.
