From AP, on the New Jersey Senate winner...

(quoted passages indicated by parentheses, to evade Elba glitch)

In a screenshot of a 2019 Twitter post captured by a WNYC reporter, Durr wrote, (Mohammed was a pedophile! Islam is a false religion! Only fools follow Muslim teachings! It is a cult of hate!)

(I support everybodys right to worship in any manner they choose and to worship the God of their choice,) Durr said in his statement to the media outlets. (I support all people and I support everybodys rights. Thats what I am here to do, work for the people and support their rights.)

Durr did not respond to phone and email messages from The Associated Press seeking comment Friday. A spokesperson for New Jersey Senate Republicans declined comment Friday, referring a reporter to Durrs statement.

Also on Friday, the New Jersey chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations called on Durr to meet with Muslim leaders and renounce hate.

In other posts, Durr seemed to equate not opposing COVID-19 vaccination mandates to remaining silent during the Holocaust, including with the post a photo of a yellow star that the National Socialist party forced Jewish people to wear.

He also said on Facebook that the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol was not an insurrection but (an unauthorized entry by undocumented federal employers.)

Heh.

Heh

And Sweeney STILL lost.

If you know anything about his district, it is full of racist, low-life, white trailer park trash, AKA Eagles fans.

Larry I'm not cheering for anyone.

I asked Fac to support his post with #s.

And its a matter of how we allocate resources and who benefits and who pays.

there is no free lunch.
. BINGO!!!!

To say BBB is not a matter of spending, is idiotic and sophomoric on its face.

at first the price tag was $7T now its $1.8T and stuff got cut because it was deemed too expensive and the resources or votes weren't there.

I'm sorry you didn't understand the process and you now seem very angry.

The stupid and angry black man.

Why do I expect more from you?

Race card in play, now.

The default mechanism when Larry OR one of his compadres is asked to put up something to support his opinion.

HeH
banks tried to whitesplain the political process to Larry and got called on it. That you would jump in on the issue that had nothing to do with you is the least surprising thing to happen today, including that I am a day older than I was yesterday.

The important thing is that Banks reads the numbers, and when it is confirmed by the CBO, that he and the other Manchinemas of the nation admit what a Big Big Big fiscally conservative tangible boost to comfort, optimism, and progress not to mention the economy and our national and individual balance sheet this gone big bill is and they all support it fully as it is popular, scientific, sensible, conservative, godly, and upholds the bargain struck with the progressive wing and all Americans who hope to live longer than the next twenty years that moved their also popular, scientific, and sensible infrastructure bill to the desk of President Joe Biden without first sending him the even more vital BBB.

No boz, what I did, and have done for 17+ months was to explain my take on a sensible agenda for Biden in his first two years in office to get him popular wins for Dems to run on in '22.

The first of these posts were in June 2020, about 5 months before the election.

and it was basically

-heal from covid

-get back to work and school

-jump start the economy to get it going again

-and promote an infrastructure bill

because eveyone likes money and security and March 2020 until June 2020 life was miserable.

The 2nd issue was that going from $7T in infrastructure plans downsized to $6T $4.5, $3.5T and now $1.8T was not in line with Larry's screaming GO BIG for 17 months.

Larry misread the table and he was wrong.

Dems were downsizing to where they could get something done and to where there was sufficient political support.

And as far as I know, color or race has little to do with Larry not understanding math or that policies are different that politics.

But for reasons unknown, Larry played the race card, as he has in the past.

I hope that helps.

Whitesplaining math?

Really?

LMAO

Fac I am not a Manchinista. I'm pragmatic and wanted to see a smart plan to help Dems fight the Repubs in '22. IMO Dems were overplaying their hand, and assumed a mandate that was not there. And as we know they have the slimmest of margins that they may have pissed away. And I've been consistent in that message for a year and a half.

I also talked about Biden consolidating his political wins int '22 momentum and more aggressive social and political initatives and told our mutual friend Larry, if Biden was smart he could build a coaltion and beocme a latter day FDR with his own New Deal. It just wasn't going to happen in his first two years.

I fear the Repubs regaining power in '22 and the Dems being in disarray in '24. I fear for democracy and IMO Dems overplaying their  hand plays into the Repubs strategy.

Now the Dems have to market the shit out of the BIF and hopefully the BBB.

They still have time swing the pendulum and regain momentum.

Republicans and Democrats need to work together as a team to help the American people. People are desperate right now. I just saw a neighbor who is homeless now, I saw him as I was out walking. It is so sad to see people homeless in America. We need to create jobs for our people, and we have homeless people who have been homeless for a long time and who do not have good resumes who need those jobs doing construction and building high speed trains, and replacing water pipes and putting in new water systems, etc. Everyone needs to come together as a team and help our people, many of our people are homeless now, we need jobs that a homeless person can do. The homeless people can live at work camps while they are building the high speed trains, and they can have food trucks to feed them, etc.

We also need to invest in the Mexican ports, and hire Mexican truck drivers, and we can expand trade with Latin America, etc.

We need for everyone to come together as a team and to help our homeless people, and to educate and elevate our people, and to create jobs for desperate people. Building our high speed trains will be great jobs, that will help the homeless people. And the tourists will love our high speed trains, and tourism is big business.

Salute,

Banks has chosen not to distinguish between good politics and what is reasonably politically possible.

We have set aside the 1.9 trillion in Covid emergency legislation and subsequent good governance and concerted human progress that is currently addressing the first three items on bankzzz list.

1.1 trillion dollars of infrastructure is getting the pen and into circulation. Half a trillion of that is new appropriation. That is not even go small. That is putting out the fire, clearing out the flood, and beginning to lay ground for the renovations.

BBB as it stands brings this to about 2.2 trillion in rechanneling idle wealth to pursuing the promises of the one responsible governing party in the United States.

Let us scrap going big. It is not big. Big was never going to happen.

2.2 trillion is significant. We can get it done this year and then start fighting for the next piece.

It is all a tough fight as long as bushtrump judges, methhead grifter governors and legislators, and vampire squids stand in our way, but that has always been the struggle of America.

If the pragmatists honor their pledge, significant can be done and dusted by the turn to December.

That would allow all reasonable Americans and their elected and appointed officials to turn their attention and fire for a good six to ten months starting right away on bushtrump judges, methhead grifter governors and legislators, and vampire squids.

This would go a long way to both cleaning up crime in this country as much as possible without gun and policing reforms and redrawing the political landscape in 2022 as the 2021 significant work, at least in terms of initial hires and bid seeking takes root along with additional advances in vaccination and treatment take root.

Investigation and administration can take priority over legislation once BBB is passed. That way everyone not a villain in this piece wins.

Rick Scott is working to enlarge the wife beater caucus in the Senate. Somehow this is all in service to the people of Florida.

Banks' made a fair criticism and Larry spun it as racist.

That he would do so, and that you would jump in to justify Larry's injustice is not surprising, and as normal as the sun rising in the East and setting in the West.

I gave a QnD take a year and a half ago on a politcally solid Biden game plan to get him to '22 with a chance to hold the H&S. And to build a politcal coalition for '24 and beyond. In essence bank popular wins economic recovery and infrastructure bills and capitalize them into votes.

I fear the over reach has been really destructive. But if the Dems start aggressively marketing IF and whats in BBB, they can recover.

Well see.

and FAC remember your GO BIG WISH LIST you put together me, so we could have an idea of what GO BIG meant?

I should dig it up but is DC and PR states yet? Or is Medicare for all a reality, or free college, or free Willy?

But hopefully $1.8 T or there about can get a lot of good and visible stuff done for the middle class,

I walked to City Hall today, it was a beautiful walk, and California has great weather. The Social Worker at the Housing office was beautiful. She must have a good heart too, because she helps people for a living. Some of the best plays have Social Workers who the guys fall in love with.

There is "Guys and Dolls" where Brando's character falls in love with a Social Worker. And then there is "A Thousand Clowns" where the guy falls in love with a Social Worker. Lots of plays have women Social Workers as the love interest.

California has beautiful women, and we have beautiful Social Workers at City Hall.

Salute,

Banks thinks he is being pragmatic by rooting for the bad guys.

Larry I am pragmatic, but I won't sell my soul.

But there is a reason for the old saying, "politics makes strange bedfellows".

And Larry I've listened to your perspective, and I understand it, and in many cases I agree with you and your goals.

However I found the environment hostile to its immediate fruition.

Biden is President because black and brown people put him through the primary and then took two seats in Georgia...

And all moderates do is tell the BASE of this fucking party to be quiet, white folks talking.

And then when shit goes south electorally the first thing you will say is well, the black turnout was low.

In this era you are either going to split or lose the white vote no matter what so why do you keep spitting on the folks who have been giving you 90 plus? instead of watching the GOP make it harder for them to vote why are you not protecting their rights and access?

Joe Biden promised to reach across the aisle and work in a bipartisan fashion and the Republicans tried to overturn the election and failing that tried to overthrow the government.

YMMV

The BASE stayed home in NJ and VA. Guess they thought those races didn't matter. Now, they'll be shitting themselves and blaming MoJoe Manchin or Miss Sinematic ain't gonna change the fact that the BASE took a vacation when they should have kept up the good work.

Those are indeed FACTS. Now, if you think the BASE is brown and black and white folks are either blue dog Dems or GOPers, as it seems you do, then the turnout being low among black and brown folks DOES matter, and it ain't bias or prejudicial to point that out.

You can't have it both ways, Larry. You can't say minorities won for the DEMS because they showed up at the polls, and then when they don't show say that it's not their fault.

There are other factors at work in all of these races/votes/elections, but if white folks are evil and non-whites are saviors, then the saviors can't be taking holidays.

Blah blah blah

You take our vote for granted while white folks split theirs and the other side is actively seeking to overturn this Madisonian democracy.
