Rittenhouse will be looking over his shoulder for a long, long time.

Last thing we need to do in this country is turn this shithead into a fucking martyr.

That won't stop someone from trying, however.

On the issue of helping the homeless, some people want to divide people up by race, or by sexual identity, or whatever, to help the homeless. We should not divide Americans up when it comes to aid, we need to deliver aid equally for all people.

We need to help everyone equally, we need to help all of the homeless people, and one area where we can send people is to Merced, California. Merced has farm jobs, and Merced will have a station on the California High Speed Rail. We need to flood Merced with money and we need to create jobs for the homeless and for our immigrants on our Southern Border, in Merced. We can send the people to Merced, and we can help the people in Merced. "Merced" means "Mercy" and that is what it is all about, having Mercy and helping people.

Salute,

From the Huber family statement after the verdict in Kenosha:

...But we watched the trial closely, hoping it would bring us closure.

That did not happen. Todays verdict means there is no accountability for the person who murdered our son. It sends the unacceptable message that armed civilians can show up in any town, incite violence, and then use the danger they have created to justify shooting people in the street. We hope that decent people will join us in forcefully rejecting that message and demanding more of our laws, our officials, and our justice system.
(...)

No reasonable person viewing all of the evidence could conclude that Mr. Rittenhouse acted in self-defense. In response to racist and violent calls to action from militia members, Mr. Rittenhouse travelled to Kenosha illegally armed with an assault rifle. He menaced fellow citizens in the street. Though he was in open violation of a curfew order, Kenosha police encouraged him to act violently. Kenosha police told militia members that they would push peaceful protestors toward the militia so that the militia could deal with them.  Soon after, Mr. Rittenhouse killed Joseph Rosenbaum. The police did nothing. Concerned citizens, confronted with a person shooting indiscriminately on the street, stepped in to stop the violence. Anthony was shot in the chest trying to disarm Mr. Rittenhouse and stop his shooting spree. Still, the police did nothing. Mr. Rittenhouse continued to shoot, maiming Gaige Grosskreutz. The police let Mr. Rittenhouse leave the scene freely. Mr. Rittenhouse came to Kenosha armed to kill. Kenosha police encouraged him to act violently, and our son is dead as a result.

Thank god a jury listened to the evidence, followed the law, and rendered a just verdict.

He won't be a martyr as he's too valuable, and will have 24/7 security, He's gonna be the new poster boy and fund raiser for 2A advocates. They're gonna have that boy on the road waiving his AR-15, working the crazy fuckers for every penny they can to keep the streets safe for crazy fuckers carrying AR-15 looking to self-defend themselves from radical skateboarders .

Legally shred and bury the NRA and all its affiliates, then sue Killer Koward Kyle civilly once there is nobody left to pick up his legal bills.

Debt peonage is a thing in this country. Though I am against it generally, for him it would be very fitting.

Insure or confiscate all firearms.

Keep marching.

I know a NG cant be appealed,  but is it possible to have judicial misconduct investigated and a verdict nullified?
Yes, and no.

Kyle Rittenhouse

Woke up this mornin
Got yourself a gub
Your mama always said youd be the chosen one
She said youre  one in a million, you got to burn to shine"
But you were born under a bad sign with a blue moon in your eyes
And you woke up this mornin
All that love had gone
Your papa never told you about right and wrong
Hey but youre, but youre looking good, baby
I believe that you're a-feelin fineI know I
Shame about it
Born under a bad sign with a blue moon in your eyes

catchy, but what's a gub?

I think the rational take away is don't attack armed vigilantes who are threatening you and your community with skateboards, but rather shoot the SOBs, as is your right under Wisconsin law.

Another sad day for our country.
Yeah, the last guy he shot, who pointed a pistol at him to try to get him to drop his gun, should have just shot him. "Self" Defense includes preventing serious harm to others.
You cannot be serious.
Self-defense is not the sole province of right wing vigilantes.

Nobody said it was. But the evidence presented to the jury led them to a self-defense verdict for Rittenhouse.

Thanks.  Due to time delays inherent in message board chats,  I went forth and researched.  So the hope is for legislative remedy.   The state needs to ask why one Wisconsin case,  the girl who is trapped with a pedo and sex trafficker, the self defense is not acceptable when she shoots him, but it is with Rittenhoise.
