Cable news rating note

Americans flocked to Fox News for information and analysis as the network topped both CNN and MSNBC every single weekday hour by double- and triple-digit percent advantages during the final quarter of its 25th anniversary year.

It is time to take the smut peddlers at Fox off the air. Maybe replace them with a news network of some description. If we make Reds fascist pornhub go dark, some blood will have a chance to flow back to his brain.

You wouldn't like Fox News, it has a right wing flavour.
Maybe criticises your BLM, leftist, "keep marching" ideas.
Fox News hasn't been the same since Megyn Kelly departed.

It has also had some lawyers it employs who have affirmed that what it puts on the air is not news, something obvious to even the most casual viewer after only a few moments at any hour any day of the week.

The people who compiled that report are giving some strange advice. They have San Diego as 11th in quality of life. I need to see the ten they have above it.

Second that.  Some of the yardsticks used are faulty.   Boulder sits amid massive Front Range sprawl and insane housing prices, and the winters can be formidable.  And the quoted "old guard" who say it was way cooler in the seventies are correct.  Fort Collins is a much better choice, but they put it way down the list.  And again, the winters will send many would-be retirees fleeing to Tucson.

Also Boulder is already on fire again.

This is all Hammys fault.

We live in a similar area, edge of a montane zone, where you see that kind of thing and wonder if you're next.  Even if fire doesn't come near you, you deal with a lot of smoke all through fire season and health warnings and having to keep windows shut. and skip your walk.  Most people live in canyons that can funnel and trap smoke.  And pollution.

Some of the cities on that list, in places like Colorado, Utah, Idaho, people will be wanting to move away from as wildfires increase.

Ridiculous as it sounds, towns like Des Moines might prove to be more livable.

If you haven't read Dave Barry's year-end review of 2021, you are in a condition of deprivation.  Bust through whatever paywalls, well worth it.  I think this link will let you through.

What is crazy is how Hammy continually acts as if I am miserable where I am in life and zip code.

Da fuck is with the Arizona GOP?

Especially the AG...

https://ms-my.facebook.com/GeneralBrnovich/videos/you-want-the-nunchucks-you-got-the-nunchucks/248110943932376/

And why is SCOTUS going along with THIS bullshit?

https://theintercept.com/2021/12/30/barry-jones-arizona-supreme-court/

This is why SCOTUS is considering this case rather than refusing it and letting the Appeals court decision stand:
Quote
Although the question before the court is highly technical, the decision in Jones's case will have far-reaching implications for people in prison and on death row. For those who are innocent, the stakes are uniquely high: The justices are effectively deciding whether new evidence -- like that presented at Jones's 2017 evidentiary hearing -- should be ignored by the federal courts, even when it exposes a wrongful conviction.

The phrase "innocence is not enough" must be emblazoned on the AZ AG's case and then given a big red X through it.

Maybe you just don't like what Fox News is selling.

Fox News seems to report news that leftists seem to not like reading;

https://www.foxnews.com/media/kamala-harris-struggles-question-inflation

Vice President Kamala Harris struggled to give a coherent answer when asked about the economy and inflation during a Sunday interview on CBS.

Harris appeared on "Face the Nation" when host Margaret Brennan asked her about the issues of inflation going into the "third year" of a pandemic.

Those are the kind of lies that you substitute for any kind of living feeling or good sense, Bambu. None of it was news.

That AOC is investigating the conditions on the ground in crooked, twisted Florida and helping to turn the state blue is the closest thing to news in that whole turd pile of clippings.

Happy New Year, Bambi, you sordid soggy daft cunt.

Our economy is good here in Anaheim because of Tourism, we averaged 500,000 tourists per week in 2019.

Las Vegas gets 40,000,000 tourists per year. We need to build a high speed train with Amtrak that runs between Anaheim and Las Vegas, our tourists would love high speed trains, and if you go one way then you go to Disneyland and if you go the other way you go to Vegas, it would be great.

We need to teach our youth how to sell stuff to the tourists and how to do customer service so that they can benefit from the tourism in Southern California. There is no need to be a criminal once you learn how easy it is to sell Italian sunglasses to the tourists and flip flops and suntan lotion, etc.

The secret to retail is you double the price that you paid for it, and you subtract one cent. That was the way my Grandmother did it. It is easy to sell stuff to the tourists once you learn how.

Salute,

Tony V.

Tony, if my gas and bladder had not held up from Lost Hills to Oceanside, I might have stopped in Anaheim this week. I had a memorably good dinner at a Mongolian place there a few years back, and on another occasion dropped in on some east coast kin who had come over to see Disney. I owe Anaheim for saving me at least one trip to New Jersey.

The best restaurant in Anaheim is the Anaheim White House which is owned by Chef Bruno who is an immigrant from Italy. Chef Bruno has a charity named after his Mother, Caterina's Club, and he feeds the hungry children. He also trains the youth on how to work in the restaurant industry.

https://www.anaheimwhitehouse.com/

I recommend the Fillet Mignon, with Escargot, and Frog Legs, with Asparagus, a Baked Potato, and with plenty of Caviar, and with Fresh Baked Bread. With Champagne. And it is a nice restaurant, so dress nice, and take a well dressed date. Reservations are a must.

It is the best restaurant that we have.

And the best club is Club 33 at Disneyland. They have a 5 star restaurant. It is a classy, fun place. And it is Disney, so you know that it is a cool place.

Salute,

Tony V.
