I was a Republican when Reagan was President, I loved Reagan, and everyone in Hollywood loved Reagan. And Reagan made sure that California had jobs, we had the Space Shuttle program which created jobs in California, as well as in Florida, etc, and there was a Chevy Camaro plant in Van Nuys, and Hollywood was booming with films and television shows. The 1980s were a great time in California. I had a job and a new truck, it could have been worse. The parties were great, and the women were beautiful. And we created our own parties, we would build a fire in the desert and have kegs of beer, it was great.
But now times have changed, and we have 60,000 homeless people in Los Angeles alone, and Bill Gates and others are sending the money and jobs to other nations instead of helping the people in the USA. No one is helping to create jobs for 60,000 people that will pay enough for them to afford housing and food and healthcare. We are in a crisis now. We need to get those 60,000 people into housing as fast as we can. Plus we have the refugees and others.
Habitat for Humanity is our best bet right now, everyone needs to get out and swing hammers with Jimmy Carter. We need to build a lot of housing. We can buy in cheap areas such as Battle Mountain, Nevada, and we can build first class housing that people can enjoy. Habitat For Humanity can build Santorini, Greece, style apartment complexes complete with swimming pools and tennis courts. We can build and build and build, and we can get the homeless people and the refugees out there swinging hammers with Jimmy Carter.
We have a homelessness crisis now, our first goal needs to be to get everyone into housing. And we can help the homeless right along with the refugees, and with the immigrants, and they can all swing hammers with Jimmy Carter. And they need to share and help each other like the hippies and like the flower children. It needs to be peace and harmony with everyone fat and happy. They need to organize and they need to help each other, and Habitat For Humanity is a great organization.
Salute,
Tony V.
