That's about all that needs to be said about Trump and Pence.

Criticizing SCOTUS Nominees is a specialty of the left with  insane libels thrown at Clarence Thomas, Bret Cavanaugh  and Amy Coney Barrett. Further back dems, led by Biden, ruined the Appeals Court chances of a Black Woman just to keep her off SCOTUS.

Nope.  Boz et al pointed out your false statements on this earlier.  And it was not just the Left that had reservations about Thomas, BeerLove, and Barrett.  Looking for red flags in a candidate's past is quite sane and has been standard practice for both parties.

Your penchant for overheated partisan attack is noted, Archie.

In Minnesota, a county that saw Trump get 66% of their vote wants to have their results audited.

All Americans need to have basic housing, food, and healthcare. We are giving all of those things to the new refugees from Afghanistan, and we need to give the same thing to American citizens who are homeless. We can mix everyone together and we can help everyone at once. We need to give our homeless the same housing, food, and healthcare, that our refugees are getting.

Rubio needs to have the same love for a homeless person as he does for the Cubans in Florida. All men are created equal. We need to help all of our homeless Americans the same way that we helped the Cubans, and the same way that we are currently helping the people from Afghanistan.

I live in a Latin neighborhood, my neighbors all speak Spanish, they are from Mexico, and El Salvador, and Guatemala, and Colombia, etc. I live with the new immigrants, and it is great, we have parties, and everything, they love me. We do not hang out, because I cannot speak Spanish, but they are good peope.

Here is a video from one of our parties, we had a live band with free tacos and pizza.

https://youtu.be/x4K7dnixw5I

We can mix everyone together, and we can help the refugees and the homeless people all together. And they can all work together at Habitat For Humanity, etc. I have worked on construction sites with the Mexicans, it is no problem, language is not an issue when you are building housing.

Salute,

Tony V.

I always like such dismissive evasions.

Indisputable that from 1789 to 1980 only white males were considered for SCOTUS.

Then in 1980 Reagan promised to pick a (white) female, and did in 1981.
Then back to the GOP picking white males only, until Thurgood Marhshall died, and another black male was purposely chosen.   So from 1789 to 1991, all nominees were selected on the basis of race and gender.

Since then the GOP mostly selects white males and the DEMs females of various ethnicity.

The cautionary tale is Clarence Thomas.  Offered as a replacement to Marshall, but then became a silent lapdog for Scalia with very obvious RW attitudes.  And his wife's loyalty purge activities for Trumpists and other shenanigans cast a shadow on his judicial impartiality.  Picking on the basis of visible markers only makes sense when the marker correlates with bringing a perspective the Court is lacking.

The current candidate who went to a state U and grew up in a SPF more embodies the fresh perspective.

What perspective is that?  Certainly Judge Childs has a  public university education  and private practice history that would be a counterbalance to the current Ivy Leaguers on the Court.  Ah, but progressive democrats beg to differ.

Union interests complain she is anti worker
Their complaints can be found in the Washington Post claimingJudge Childs is anti union  because she has represented management, implying an aversion to worker rights.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/us-policy/2022/02/02/supreme-court-labor-biden/

The Association of Flight Attendants contend for far too long, the Supreme Court has been dominated by pro-corporate justices.
The progressives come down on the side of nominating only those who have spent their career in government, academia, or promoting left-wing causes.

Criticizing SCOTUS Nominees is a specialty of the left with  iinsane libels thrown at Clarence Thomas, Bret Cavanaugh  and Amy Coney Barrett. Further back dems, led by Biden, ruined the Appeals Court chances of a Black Woman just to keep her off SCOTUS.

Amazing that Biden has bipartisan support to fill the vacancy but his own party appears to want a fight.
Wonder what Joe Manchin must be thinking.

America is ironic in that we have our Statue of Liberty inviting the homeless to our shores, and yet the immigrants are the ones who are helping the homeless Americans.

I had a social worker from Venezuela, and I had a wealthy lady from the Philippines who gave me a bed in an expensive home and she cooked for me, and my doctor is from the Philippines, the immigrants are coming to the USA and the immigrants are helping the Americans.

Bill Gates should be ashamed of himself, and other wealthy Americans, our immigrants are coming here and they are doing the work that Bill Gates and others should be doing. The ones who rise to the top in America are supposed to help to take care of our country.

Americans need to step up and start helping our people, and the homeless people need to get organized. And God bless the good immigrants who are coming to the USA and who are helping the homeless people in the USA.

Salute,

Thomas won 41 of 43 GOP votes and 11 dems in a democrat Senate.
The disgusting dem tactics have forever stained the party.
A stain that was worsened during the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh who was accused of sexual abuse allegations( when he was a teenager] The charge by a lone accuser was unsubstantiated after background checks and a separate FBI investigation. Kavanaugh won 50 votes from 49 of the 51 republicans ( one did not vote) and one democrat, Joe Manchin.
Amy Coney Barrett won 52 of 53 GOP votes in 2020 while pouting democrats turned their backs on her sterling qualifications,  still mad over treatment of Merrick Garland.

I was a Republican when Reagan was President, I loved Reagan, and everyone in Hollywood loved Reagan. And Reagan made sure that California had jobs, we had the Space Shuttle program which created jobs in California, as well as in Florida, etc, and there was a Chevy Camaro plant in Van Nuys, and Hollywood was booming with films and television shows. The 1980s were a great time in California. I had a job and a new truck, it could have been worse. The parties were great, and the women were beautiful. And we created our own parties, we would build a fire in the desert and have kegs of beer, it was great.

But now times have changed, and we have 60,000 homeless people in Los Angeles alone, and Bill Gates and others are sending the money and jobs to other nations instead of helping the people in the USA. No one is helping to create jobs for 60,000 people that will pay enough for them to afford housing and food and healthcare. We are in a crisis now. We need to get those 60,000 people into housing as fast as we can. Plus we have the refugees and others.

Habitat for Humanity is our best bet right now, everyone needs to get out and swing hammers with Jimmy Carter. We need to build a lot of housing. We can buy in cheap areas such as Battle Mountain, Nevada, and we can build first class housing that people can enjoy. Habitat For Humanity can build Santorini, Greece, style apartment complexes complete with swimming pools and tennis courts. We can build and build and build, and we can get the homeless people and the refugees out there swinging hammers with Jimmy Carter.

We have a homelessness crisis now, our first goal needs to be to get everyone into housing. And we can help the homeless right along with the refugees, and with the immigrants, and they can all swing hammers with Jimmy Carter. And they need to share and help each other like the hippies and like the flower children. It needs to be peace and harmony with everyone fat and happy. They need to organize and they need to help each other, and Habitat For Humanity is a great organization.

Salute,

Tony V.
