My Grandmother from the Oregon territory had the maiden name of Clark, and she said we were somehow related to William Clark the Explorer, but I do not know. I have not done my complete family tree yet. I want to do my family tree, and my DNA, and see what I can learn.

I had to read down a ways to discover the event was voluntary.  The school made a mistake in not making that clear to at least a couple classrooms.  Anyway, it's a constitutional violation, unless they move the EC meets off-campus.  For some kids, that flavor of worship may be better than drugs and despair, as someone said, but it has to be their choice.

About those Canadian Truckers


Ostensibly, the truckers are against a new rule mandating that, when they re-enter Canada from the United States, they have to be vaccinated. But that is not really it. The mandate is a moot point: The Americans have a similar requirement, and, anyway Canadian truckers, the vast majority, according to the Canadian Trucking Alliance, are vaccinated. (The CTA represents about 4,500 truckers nationwide.)
So it is about something else. Or many things: a sense that things will never go back to normal, a sense that they are being ganged up on by the government, the media, Big Tech, Big Pharma.

It is hard to capture how thoroughly Trudeau has misjudged the moment. This pandemic has sucked for all Canadians, he said Monday. As for the protest? It has to stop,declared the prime minister.
If he sauntered down to the mess of rigs on Wellington Street, across from the Parliament building, opposite the mall and the war memorial, if he talked to these people for a few minutes, he would understand  It will not stop.

What is happening in Canada right now is bigger than the mandates.

The convoy is spearheaded by truckers, but its message of opposition to life under government control has brought onto the icy streets countless, once-voiceless people declaring that they are done being ignored. That the elites the people who have Zoomed their way through the pandemic had better start paying attention to the fentanyl overdoses, the suicides, the crime, the despair.

Here in the West, we do not wait for people to build for us, we get busy and we build ourselves.

There are people in poor neighborhoods who complain about everything that they do not have, instead of getting busy and building what they want. If you need a great grocery store, then organize your community and bring in a grocery store. Or a Starbucks coffee shop. Or whatever. In Anaheim we need a movie studio and a Barnes and Noble Bookstore.

Of note, people need to build on the Native American Indian Reservations, and the SBA needs to invest in the Tribes such as the Western Shoshone.

And many Tribes are wealthy now, such as the San Manuel Tribe, and the Seminole Tribe.

There are some hot young Native American Indian models and actresses taking the world by storm. I fully support having more Native American Indians in the Entertainment Industry.

The SBA needs to make sure that the poor areas have business loans and grants to grow and expand and  to add life enhancing busiensses. Including business loans for Tribes.

Trudeau is like Dr. John Snow trying to keep his country healthy, while people like you are putting the handle back on the Broad Street pump. "I don't care how much diluted baby shit people drink! We need to return to normal!"

Of course people want to return to normal. I want to return to normal, and have for about 23 months.  What is wrong is the people who are cynically using that natural desire to score political points at the risk of public heath and safety.
