All of the beautiful women from Iran are coming to the USA, soon Iran will be a nation of lonely men.

We need to support the good people from Iran, such as Mahlagha Jaberi.

And we need to support the Pahlavi family.

One indisputable fact we have learned during the Uranian crisis:

The world has shown it is not remotely prepared to do without fossil fuels

And yet TODAY Joe Biden[ pushes renewable energy to stop dependence on foreign oil instead of increasing US production. Everyone please bow to the holy altar of Climate Change.

Keep in mind that the US is buying energy from Putin we can produce ourselves and Europe is a slave to Putin because it will not frack or use Nuclear.

Meanwhile Putin has driven energy prices up and has the West by the short hairs.

We all are rooting for Ukraine.
But we will reap what we sow.

bambuland, spooked by what's going on in the world today and what is likely to happen, is feverishly embracing anything and everything that will make it self sufficient.
Oil exploration, renewables including hydrogen in particular, nuclear is now on the table too.

If Oz really can't get behind solar/wind/geo on a SmartGrid, they should really consider the next generation modular nuke plants, which are far safer and don't depend on coolant pumps that can seize up or lose power.  But hydrogen is really a better way to go, because it "stores" solar power or wind power (which you use for electrolytic water "cracking") and makes it available for combustion-based engines as well as fuel cells.  The beauty of hydrogen is you don't have to completely replace every large truck, but can convert their fuel injectors and valves and tanks and so on, to run H instead of gas/diesel.

Richest man, businessman Andrew 'Twiggy' Forrest, former CEO of Fortescue Metals, interests in the mining industry and in cattle stations, is gung ho for hydrogen, apparently.

The people of the world are not as bad as people sometimes make them out to be. The main problems are poverty, and hunger, and homelessness, and then bad people who give heroin and other shit to desperate people.

My Grandmother opened Gold mines in Mexico, and they loved her in Mexico, and the whole experience was a good experience for her. And I went to Mexico to help desperate people with Youth For Christ. The main enemy in Mexico is poverty and desperation. If you educate the people, and give them an honest way to earn a living, then they are going to be honest. We need to support education in Mexico, and we need to support trade with Mexico.

Here is what the Bible says...

Psalm 82:3-4 New International Version (NIV)

3 Defend the weak and the fatherless;
    uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.
4 Rescue the weak and the needy;
    deliver them from the hand of the wicked.

-------

And on the issue of China, I had a roommate in Malibu who was the daughter of a general in China, there are good people in China who love the USA. China just wants trade and peace it looks like to me. And as the workers of China are paid more money and as they are treated better and as the poverty in China eases, then China will be even more peaceful. The problems always happen when bad people take advantage of desperate people. As the people become more affluent and educated then the more we can have peace.

Education has helped in Colombia too, and strong Coffee sales, etc. As the Colombians are getting educated and as they sell more Coffee then the more peaceful they are becoming. Colombia has had a whole string of great Presidents, and things are going well in Colombia.

The old days of the Russians creating conflicts in Latin America will end as the poverty eases and as trade expands and as the people become more educated. It can all be peaceful like Costa Rica.

The main enemy is poverty, and ignorance, and then the bad people who take advantage of poor and ignorant people. Education and world trade and labor unions are what the world needs.

Salute,

Tony V.

Isaac Asimov wrote that violence is the last refuge for the incompetent. The most dangerous people are those who are desperate and ignorant and who feel like violence is their only tool. As people become educated and more affluent then they become more peaceful. It is proven that as we improve education and as we increase trade and tourism that the violence goes away, like Costa Rica, and as with the advancements in Colombia. And trade and education will help in Mexico as well, and with others.

Salute,

Tony V.

Isaac Asimov wrote that violence is the last refuge for the incompetent. .
I am reminded of Ambrose Bierces response to Samuel Johnson. It is, in fact, the first.

In Texas, probes target parents of transgender minors

Abbott's letter to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS), published in the middle of an election campaign, states that "'sex change' procedures constitute child abuse under existing Texas law."

Mr Abbott is looking after the welfare of children.
