And what answer could Jackson have given that would have been acceptable?
Practically any one other than the one she gave.

So, you can't define it, either, but wish to mock her for her solid response.

Typical.
She was nominated because she is a woman( and black).
But she can

And the most qualified and experienced jurist nominated in decades.

hmmm.......

Already posted the chart on this, Kid. Her experience level is only debatable by people willing to ignore facts.

Here it is, again. The closest to her experience is the man she is nominated to replace, Breyer - and she is beyond his, as well.

Facts?

A SCOTUS Justice does not even need to be a lawyer for consideration.
In this case the nominee had to meet only Joe Biden qualifications.

Woman ( whatever that is)

If basic understanding and respect for the law were a prerequisite it would be impossible to place any conservative on the bench.

The republican practice of nominating only their most odious failsons for judgeships has been roundly rejected by the American people in a free and fair election.

Lead poisoning has made Red incapable of keeping up.

About those hearings...

The unquestionably qualified Louis Brandeis. Nominated by probably the most racist president of the 20th century.

A woman is a person who, if you and she decide to move, will be unreceptive to thinning your possessions in advance of the move, in spite of the spine-destroying prospect of boxing up six tons of ambiguous and highly decayed/rusted objects that represent a deep spiritual connection to her ancestors, especially an aunt who she met once when she was four.  The science on this is very solid, and a huge population study across many demographics and and nations, conducted by the Trondheim Polytechnic Institute of Technology Institute, found that this is the most reliable indication of a fixed gender identity.  Science!!

Fortenberry said the process had been unfair and he would appeal immediately. He would not say if he would suspend his campaign for reelection, saying he was going to spend time with his family.

This is another person who should not be in Congress.

As a former Fortenberry constituent (and having met him and the hair that he apparently stole from Daniel Boone), I can believe that he might lose track of where all the money is coming from, but I am hard put to believe that the arrival of $36,000 from a California fundraiser would not undergo some routine examination by his staff and that he would be informed of the money trail back to Lebanon or wherever it was (I haven't read the coverage this morning yet, things be busy here in Bartville).

About seven in ten Americans say the economy is in bad shape a Friday Associated PressNORC poll revealed.

The poll also revealed nearly two-thirds of Americans disapprove of how Biden is handling the economy. Moreover, a majority of Americans say Biden policies have hurt the economy instead of helped it.

Most telling when combined with other polls:

First, inflation has impacted 56 percent of swing voters.
Second, 52 percent of swing voters believe inflation and high gas prices are largely due to the Biden war on American energy independence.
Third, 67 percent of swing voters say the Democrats have spent too much money, fueling inflation.

Still waiting for Ward to define "woman" since he thinks it is easy.

It did appear at the SCOTUS Judiciary Hearings that democrats were laying low on the subject of Abortion.
Was that to make sure they did not lose the Manchin vote?

According to President Biden we have at least 100,000 refugees coming to the USA from Ukraine, and I think the number will be way higher, plus the starving Russians are going to come to Alaska, etc. We are going to need to build a lot of new housing, and we already had a homelessness crisis in the USA.

We can put all able bodied homeless people to work building housing, they can hang dry wall, and they can paint, etc. We can bring in great, fun architects from Greece, and from Spain, and from Italy, etc, and we can build like crazy.

I suggest building in the cheap areas such as in Nevada, and in Kentucky. Buy cheap land, and then use good high quality building materials, and build nice housing, with swimming pools and tennis courts. Battle Mountain, Nevada, is the best deal in the USA on land, and it is right in the middle of the Cowboy Highway between Elko and Winnemucca. I would build like crazy in Battle Mountain.

The biggest issue in the USA is the issue of housing, and we need to build, there is no way around it, so we might as well have fun and we might  as well build cool stuff. And we can put all of the immigrants and refugees and homeless people to work building housing. They can all join the unions. They can start out as a volunteer for Habitat For Humanity.

Salute,

Tony V.

They voted for Biden-Harris, when advised not to. Too late now for them to be crying.
Trump had it all sorted, but they ditched him.
Now look what America and the world are like...economic ruin and chaos everywhere. The Afghan exit joke, Ukraine invaded and its people slaughtered by Russia, NK firing ICBMs around again...etc etc etc.

"Better the devil you know"...or in their case..."better the devil you knew".
