It is like there are enemies who are purposely trying to bring down California, instead of helping us to grow and prosper.
Recently with the Oscars, instead of blaming Chris Rock and Will Smith for trying to turn the Oscars into the Jerry Springer Show, they are trying to blame all of Hollywood. It is not the fault of Hollywood, the people need to grow up and take responsibility, it is the fault of the 2 men who behaved improperly.
Then, with Beverly Hills, we have had some crimes, so now people are saying the whole City is bad, and that is not the case. There have been some isolated incidences with people who have been captured, and it is not the fault of the City of Beverly Hills.
In Anaheim a guy went to the Library and punched a guy, and then he went to a store and punched another guy, finally he was captured. These are just isolated incidences and the creeps are being caught. You cannot blame the City of Anaheim for the problems. And we love Disney here in Anaheim, Disney is our favorite company.
So the standard mode of operation seems to be for someone to do something bad, and then they try to make it look like it is the whole city that is bad. It is wrong-minded. Hollywood is great, Beverly Hills is great, Anaheim is great, we just have a few high profile idiots who do bad things and then people are trying to make it look like it is our whole community that is bad instead of just a few idiots.
And we have a problem in California with Literacy because we have a lot of immigrants, one third of our people are immigrants, we need to teach our immigrants English, and we need to teach our people how to read. Meanwhile, we can publish books in Spanish and let them learn in Spanish, just so long as people keep reading and learning, we need to have books in Spanish in our book shops.
Salute,
