I could really show people what a real Republican is, like Reagan, and not like Trump.

Reagan was all about business and prosperity, and he improved the whole world economy.

While, at the same time Reagan made our immigrants legal, so that they could join labor unions and so that they could call the police in the case of an emergency.

Reagan was also pro union and he was head of the Screen Actors Guild. While Reagan was head of SAG the actors received health care benefits and retirement thanks to Reagan, that all happened with Reagan.

Plus, you support education, you fight against illegal drugs, and you are pro family. And you help the foster children.

So if you go in and create jobs, and are pro immigrant and work to make the immigrants legal so that they can join unions and call the police in the case of an emergency, and if you are pro union, and if you help to make sure that people have retirement benefits, and health care, while improving education and including helping those who need education the most, etc, then I think that would be a good platform to show them what a real Republican is.

Salute,

In 1992, McDonalds opened its first fast-food restaurant in the Chinese capital of Beijing.

---------

McDonalds has come a long way since being a little hamburger stand in San Bernardino, California. My Grandmother worked at the original McDonalds as a car hop, back when they had young women bring your food out to your car for you. The original McDonalds Brothers bought their groceries at Smart & Final to make the food for their menu at their McDonalds hamburger stand. The special sauce for the Big Mac was Smart & Final Thousand Island Dressing.

McDonald's gets their beef from the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

https://www.verymeaty.com/fresh-meat/beef/where-does-the-beef-in-mcdonalds-burgers-come-from/

So, as McDonald's expands in China we have ranchers here in the USA who are benefiting, and hopefully the cattle ranchers in Nevada are benefiting.

And the refugees can work for the cattle ranchers, and they can be butchers, and they can process the meat, etc. I had a friend who was a butcher and it is a good job, he owned a nice house, he earned a good living.

McDoanld's is helping to create a lot of jobs, and as McDonald's expands in China then we will benefit here in the West.

Next up a not too flattering book on the Biden 2020 Campaign.

Excerpts from Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns, This will Not Pass, Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America s Future, ( Reporters for the New York Times)

First lady Jill Biden expressed frustration that Kamala Harris was the top choice for Vice President.

There are millions of people in the United States, she began. Why do we have to choose the one who attacked Joe, the authors wrote of a conversation Jill Biden had after she learned Harris became a leading candidate to serve as the Biden Running mate.
Several from the Biden inner circle, however, supported Harris on the ticket. Ron Klain, now the White House chief of staff, had been tasked with vetting vice presidential candidates and, according to the book, told Biden early on that Harris was most qualified for the job as she had sought the presidency herself.
Yes, Harris had attacked Biden more harshly than any other major candidate in the Democratic primaries. Yes, the Biden family had seen it as a smear and a betrayal. In the Klain assessment, that would work to a Biden advantage, the book states. Choosing Harris will show people that you are magnanimous and forgiving, Klain told Biden. It will show the country just what a unifying leader you can be.
The book also highlights Biden reservations to select Harris as a running mate. Noting her past romantic relationship with Willie Brown, the former San Francisco mayor who had appointed Harris to a pair of minor political positions, the book said Biden described the behavior as the kind of thing that should be off limits.

Another candidate who pushed hard for the role was Stacey Abrams, who, according to the book, did not pass the test and was seen by Biden advisers as a lost cause after she failed to win the Georgia gubernatorial race in 2018.
Abrams fought hard to win real consideration but never overcame the experience issue that Biden  advisers warned him about, the book claims.

Another candidate was New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan  Grisham, whom the book billed as a no-nonsense former state health secretary buried in managing the pandemic on the ground, She told the authors of the book that the vetting process from Biden team was insane. Biden asked me to sell him on vice president: Why should you be Vice President.?
I did not ask to be vice president, she told Biden. You asked for me to be vetted, you tell me why you think I would make a good vice president. This was not my idea.

DUH!

The book is slated to be released on May 3.

I'm sure it's a coincidence.

I hear you have graduated from swilling horse paste to injecting your own urine. Nice job.

That is as flattering as it gets where you are concerned.

It's amusing that Ward's takeaway on This Will Not Pass is that it is negative about the Biden campaign.

It's negative about both parties, but the news it is making at the moment is about Trump and McCarthy.

And if Cheney didn't record that phone call and release it, then who did?!
