A German company has begun scaling up manufacturing on batteries they have proven through the prototype testing phases. It consists of Sulphur, Graphene, and Lithium. We are currently Siting and planning the worlds largest lithium mine at the Salton Sea in Southern California ensuring a plentiful steady domestic supply of the one hard element to acquire for the process.

The result is cheap, physical and temp stable, energy dense batteries for all sorts of applications. This presages a jobs explosion not just in the creation of the batteries themselves, but also in an extension of where it will make overwhelming economic sense to upgrade electrical systems and even fully decarbonize once supplies become available.

Germany may have just invented the pill that gets the whole species to quit smoking and America may have the economic resources and interest to push that product everywhere it can go in the world.

Democrats will once again refuse a compromise legislation that wuld be to their - and the nation's - benefit

And well they should. This is bullshit.

And there is no sixty ayes for any version of a bill that codifies pre-viability abortion rights.  If eight senators were to indicate a shift towards that, then of course there would be compromise.  Utterly ludicrous when the GOP starts crying that there's no compromise.

Maybe Larry and others here dont feel a baby is actually a  living creature until it  comes out of its  birthing vessel and takes a breath.

Holy motherfucking shit on a stick, what is wrong with you?  BIRTHING VESSEL?  Is that how you see a woman?

And shame on you for your idiot Strawman argument.  Very few favor third trimester abortion, which is clearly beyond the 24 week viability line.  Even the nonreligious factions generally accept that issues of sentience and viability make any abortion past that line morally troubling.  I can only see humane exceptions where we are talking severe birth defects that allow no quality of life or human consciousness, like anencephaly.  At present that is, what, half of one percent of abortions?

You just described a woman as a birthing vessel

And there you have it, gentlemen.

Thanks, I see I posted redundantly.  Heh!

Not at all. This is actually quite fair.

a) In General. A State

(1) may not impose an undue burden on the ability of a woman to choose whether or not to terminate a pregnancy before fetal viability;

(2) may restrict the ability of a woman to choose whether or not to terminate a pregnancy after fetal viability, unless such a termination is necessary to preserve the life or health of the woman; and

(3) may enact regulations to further the health or safety of a woman seeking to terminate a pregnancy.

(b) Clarification. For purposes of this Act, unnecessary health regulations that have the purpose or effect of presenting a substantial obstacle to a woman seeking to terminate a pregnancy impose an undue burden.

(c) Rule Of Construction. Nothing in this Act shall be construed to have any effect on laws regarding conscience protection.

No.

It is bullshit.

You do not negotiate and/or compromise on the basic right of body autonomy.

This Roberts court is as fucked up as the Taney Court.

This (the Collins-Murkowki bill) has nothing to do with the Court.

Trump era maintenance contracts were executed a lot like the maintenance of the army of trumps Russian patrons.

Like much of the murder trump and his followers committed the fallout in deaths are still occurring now.

She has a lot of work to do. Walk back all the statements and mistakes of sleepy Joe. Only really bad recet press secretary was the first under Donald, Sean Spicer. Belligerent and unsocial beyond belief.

a) Press secretary says what she is told to say.

b) You're an asshole.

c) You are also deluded. Besides Spicer, Trump had a bunch of other dreadful press secretaries.

There have been a  few pretty good press secretaries under Dem presidents.  Psaki is not one of them.

Best I can recall have been Fleishcer and Perino - but I also liked Josh Earnest - of recent times.
