I can be a representative for the homeless people, because I was homeless for 2 years, and I can verify that not all of the homeless people are on drugs, or are mentally ill, I did not become mentally ill until later, being homeless helped to contribute to making me mentally ill. I just needed an honest job that paid enough to pay rent and to buy food and to live. Being close to the movie studios, I trained for the movie industry, but I would have done any honest job that paid enough to buy a home and raise a family.
Not all of the homeless people are on drugs or are mentally ill, some people just need an honest job that pays enough for food and shelter.
I can represent the homeless people, I was out there homeless, and I was clean and sober with a college degree begging for work. If Disney would have hired me 30 years ago then I would still be working there.
We have 60,000 homeless people in Los Angeles, and many of them are great people like me.
We need to make sure that the homeless people vote in the elections, and we need to help our homeless people.
And even planting orange trees and picking oranges and making orange juice, it is way better to work instead of being homeless.
We also have forest jobs, especially during fire season.
Salute,
