Here is an example of how a television show can be used to help with social issues, such as helping poor young teens who are having problems, here is a video of a show by Loretta Young named "Nobody's Boy" and it is about a boy's club in the city to help boys who need help.

That is a great use of film and television is to help people who need help. New shows can be made to help people, the shows can be like the Loretta Young Show and the shows can be about social issues, etc.
