Red will still be trying to gain traction for this well into the second term of President Biden and even deeper into the decline and fall of the republican party.

Adam Schiff has thrown Biden under the bus.
Schiff is a pencil necked lying geek but he has this one  right.
Biden had no authority to have ANY classified  documents as Vice President but he did.
His stupidity( at best) ) blew up the Mar a Lago case against Trump.
Biden is toast.

MUHWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Normally I would just point out that RedDick is a PROVEN LIAR but his last lie is an interesting intersection between two right wing bubble lies: that under Biden DoJ has become politically weaponized, and that there is some correlation between what Trump did and what Biden did. The affidavit backing the Trump search warrant cited three statutes: the espionage act (which includes showing classified documents to any unauthorized person, including a journalist you are sleeping with or a Mar a Lago party guest), obstruction and willfully withholding official documents. None of those appear at play here, since Biden has been handing over the documents as they are found, and Trump most decidedly did not. DoJ is perfectly capable of drawing obvious distinctions and making prosecutorial judgments.

There is also knowingly mishandling classified documents, but RedDick pretends part of that offense does not exist. And while there is plenty of evidence Trump violated this law as well, especially since he continued to retain them after specifically being to what he was doing was a violation,  Biden voluntarily turning the documents over as they are discovered makes the knowledge element difficult to show.

Which brings in a second lie: the whole weaponization myth. It is not weaponization for DoJ to investigate conservatives for their crimes. It is not the fault of the Biden administration that the Repos were, and are, led by a morally corrupt buffoon and monomaniac who has spent his entire life lying, cheating and circumventing laws. DoJ will not be basing prosecution on the whether the political optics look good for the Biden administration.

I have not found any article attributing any comment to Schiff remotely like the one PROVEN LIAR RedDick cites. As reported by RedDick it is obviously wrong, so I think RedDick just garbled the info dump into his brain from the right wing bubble he gets all of his opinions from. The VP obviously gets access to sorts of assigned documents.  What Schiff did say, because unlike the Repos who have their mouths permanently stitched to Trump s a us, he gives a shit about National Security, is that we need an intelligence assessment of the potential damage done by Biden having classified documents in his office and home.

The statue of liberty has an interesting history but it was not originally built to defend open immigration.

John T. Cunningham wrote that "The Statue of Liberty was not conceived and sculpted as a symbol of immigration, but it quickly became so as immigrant ships passed under the torch and the shining face, heading toward Ellis Island. However, it was [Lazarus's poem] that permanently stamped on Miss Liberty the role of unofficial greeter of incoming immigrants."[17]

I would only add, to Lime's Two Bubble Lies analysis, that "pencil-necked" is exemplar of a popular third lie that liberals are effete and physically weak.  Attacking well-educated people as elitist geeks is how the GOP carry on the Reagan tradition of bashing any signs of intellectual development.  The downside, of course, is that your own candidates must get dumber, incapable of delivering anything but catchy slogans that fragment under scrutiny.  Phrases that are little more than Emotion Pumps.  Reagan, Quayle, Gingrich, GW Bush, Trump...a devolutionary process.

I acknowledged (and you agreed) that Trump was wrong to hold on to the Classified Documents at the time of the Mar A Lago raid.

Irrelevant and immaterial since the presence of the documents at his home and office are prima facie evidence of his mishandling of classified documents. The punishment for the misconduct, however, will be left up to the voters, as it should be.

Must not have tried very hard.

From Politico and Slate both on the far left of the Political spectrum.

Rep. Adam Schiff, who chairs the House Intelligence Committee, said that as far as he is concerned there is direct evidence of collusion between Donald Trump s presidential campaign and Russia. Specifically, Schiff says that the 2016 offer from a Russian lawyer for information on Hillary Clinton to members of Trump presidential campaign and Russia. Specifically, Schiff says that the 2016 offer from a Russian lawyer for information on Hillary Clinton to members of the Trump campaign is the smoking gun. I think there is direct evidence in the emails from the Russians through their intermediary offering dirt on Hillary Clinton as part of what is described in writing as the Russian government effort to help elect Donald Trump, Schiff said on CBS Face the Nation, when he was asked if he had direct evidence of collusion with Russia.

If you claim to be a lawyer is it too much to ask that you behave as one?

About Joe Biden and Transparency.

Biden left the Vice Presidency in January of 2017 returning to Washington as President four years later. During those four years he lived at home we do not know who visited him and might have had access to the classified documents he illegally moved from the Government.
As President he has returned home for 149 days but there are NO visitor logs.
Hmmmm

I am fairly sure that when you traded your head in for an extra ass you wrote your destiny and sealed your own fate the fallout of which we have the pleasure of witnessing thankfully well outside your infamous splash zone.
