The College Board on Wednesday released a revised version of an Advanced Placement African American studies course following criticism from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), who refused to allow the program to run in Florida schools.

In a new framework for the course reviewed by The Hill, Black writers and scholars associated with critical race theory have been scrubbed from the curriculum, as have those who touch on the Black queer experience and Black feminism. Other topics, like Black Lives Matter, are now optional.

The Board also added Black conservatism as a potential research topic.

David Coleman, the head of the College Board, told The New York Times that these changes were not made to bow to political pressure.

At the College Board, we cannot look to statements of political leaders,Coleman said. The changes, he said, came from the input of professors and longstanding A.P. principles.

Just the type of horseshit you can feed a trump voter. It is just the type of horseshit an incurably deranged trump voter would cough back up.

A national secular humanist curriculum for all accreditation purposes is a great tool for keeping fascist morons like DeSantis and anyone who would support him out of our classrooms.

DeSantis is the most popularly elected Governor in Florida history and his vision for Education in the state was hardly a secret. The College Board could hardly ignore that fact.  Elections have consequences.

Why should the College Board care about how many votes DeSantis received?

Because DeSantis is a torture monkey and he is probably robbing Florida for bigger thumb screws.

Independents are starting to realize that republicans slaughter the economy while Democrats save and improve their jobs.

Leaky diapers made them do it.

Remember the good old days when republicans were at least competent to clean their own behinds?

Those were the good old days. Clean assed republicans are a thing of the past.

So you post a quote saying College Board was not influenced by DeSantis or any political pressure.  Then you tell us that the CB was so influenced, and in fact that DeSantis vote count was a factor.

Well, which is it?

The GOP were abusing the blue slip system back in Obama administration.   Time to stop being polite and junk this stupid tradition.

Apparently GOP reps wearing AR15 lapel pins in lieu of the American flag want you to test out how bulletproof they actually are.
