I like his take (am about 25 min into) on the role comedians can play in activism.  Stewart seems unpretentious and not "showbiz" in how he communicates.  I'm sorry his relationship with his dad was so bad he felt he had to drop his perfectly fine last name, Leibowitz.  But hey, he's a comedian and comedians know how to use painful family shit.

They can put on a dress, or skin tight gym gear, keep their beards, put on some high heels, a wig or not, and demand to compete against girls/women in schools, colleges, local districts/state/national/global sports.

She's lobbying for more than that.  She wants all trans females barred from sports, even those who have reduced their competitive advantage with hormone treatments etc.  Different sporting groups draw the line differently, some allowing trans persons who have modified their bodies to better match teammates in muscle mass and strength.  This is not a simple issue., and contact sports need more stringent rules.

Again, that's not how that works.  Regulating organizations have generally required blood tests to determine if male hormone levels would be disqualifying, setting limits on testosterone and requiring HRT to be in full effect.

So people have different opinions.  That's why we need statistical facts to determine if trans people increase any actual problems using their identified gender restrooms.  IIRC, almost all sexual assaults or abuses in restrooms, involve cis males entering in order to assault or harass women.  Maybe we should worry more about that, rather than threats for which there is no evidence beyond "some college girl was offended by looking at a teammates junk.."   Final thought - aren't "female toilets" in enclosed stalls?
