Undocumented aliens do not get government benefits. That is an example of Misinformation. And that you think immigrants would be getting "decades of welfare" is a negative stereotypes. Bigot.

55 percent of noncitizen headed households utilize Welfare programs, versus around 30 percent for native-born citizens.
Some immigrants are restricted in their use of certain welfare programs directly, but because any children born in this country are citizens, they often can and do receive welfare benefits. Compounding that, noncitizens who stay in the U.S. are more likely to use welfare than those who just arrived. The same study found that half of new noncitizens receive welfare, while the rate for long-term nonresidents is an alarming 70 percent.
Current estimates of the costs to federal, state and local governments caused by illegal immigration are more than $150 billion, including nearly $8 billion for public education alone.New York City spends approximately $8 million per day to care for the migrants.
It receives 2,200 asylum seekers per week, all of whom are housed and fed at taxpayers expense. As of last month, 40 percent of the mid-level hotel space was occupied by migrants.
This includes the luxury Row Hotel, where the 1,300 rooms set across 28 floors have been turned over to migrants at a cost of $500 per night.
New York has also resorted to reopening closed hotels to house all the migrantsthis includeing a 50-story Holiday Inn in the financial district and a mail overflow facility at JFK Airport.
The city estimates spending $363 per day to house and feed each migrant, on average.
