The father should always have a say?
Does that surprise you?

A bit. That kind of utterance usually comes from Bambu.

Hire a good lawyer, the baby is half his.
Then let him carry it to term.

Just to make my position known I am against easy abortions with the father not having a choice.
Is any abortion easy?
And how do you define Father?

Two very good questions.

I would define a father as someone who should have no legal say in whether an abortion happens or not, similar to a priest, judge or congressperson. That is not the entire definition but the part relevant to this discussion at the moment.

A father can try to be persuasive within the confines of non abusive non coercive behavior, but the decision should always be between the mother and her doctor.

No abortion, birth, or rearing is ever easy no matter what people tell you.

A rapist would lose any right to the foetus, surely.

What if the father is a rapist?
What if he is not?
What if he is a loving spouse and birth control failed?

Is he pregnant?  I think you keep missing a key piece of information here.

Fair questions I guess. I guess the only time a woman can be trusted to decide what to do with her body is when she is raped.

If a "loving spouse" can prevent an abortion would that "loving spouse" be able to compel an abortion?

The question was about a father having a say.
That does not mean he prevails.
The spouses have to work out the solution, but the father has a say.

What happens if they can't "work out the solution"?
