I laughed hard when Vivek compared himself, in his braving the roads to get to four events, to George Washington crossing the Delaware.  Then he had his aides move a meeting with farmers to Zoom.

Our finest political satirists would be hard put to write a character more absurd than that.

He is a strange duck. Just a businessman with no experience. At least Donald had some communicative skills. What does he stand for?

Any Trump supporter with an ounce of common sense would say:
No contest, no need to freeze for nothing.

That covers exactly none of them, Deej

Seems pretty clear that God is punishing the Iowa GOP for their scheduling.

Couple thoughts

January caucuses provide an entertaining clown circus in bleak midwinter.

Farmers and remote rural folk generally may still be snowed in, tomorrow.  That could help Haley a bit.  Also, old folks don't always get out in minus thirty windchills.

American citizens are sleeping in the streets in record numbers while illegals are being sheltered and fed.

That is a conscious decision by the GOP.

watching Trump rally on cspan; he just gets crazier and crazier. Has to be put away. Election insurrection, taking bribes from the Russians and everybody. DiSantis is disloyal running against him? Difficult to see when the narcissism ends and dimentia begins. Totally incoherent. Standards have been lowered so much with him abd Biden. Two major wars, covid making a comeback, illegals running amok, we need a new generation of leadership.

We have Sabrina Cervantes rising fast in politics in California, she studied at Harvard and she is sharp, she is a Democrat.

And we have Christina Pascucci who is running for the Senate, and she is awesome.

Both Sabrina and Christina are good Roman Catholics, and they support Organized Labor, Social Programs, and Education. Both support helping our Veterans.

Salute,

The circus of laughs is the Biden/Democrat plan to goad GOPers to support the Trump nomination by making him a martyr to them through civic and criminal trials.

Trouble is Biden has performed so poorly as President he is in great danger of actually losing to Trump in November.

Hence the Barton personalities pivot to rooting for Haley or other republicans.

Does not matter who GOP runs in November they are gonna get blown up and down the ballot.

This should goad every practical farmer and rural community residents dependent on farm income to support Democrats up and down the ballot

Trump broke the law, did that all on his own, and the criminal justice system responded accordingly.  There's no conspiracy or "plan," outside of Hard Right fever dreams.

If I posted support for Haley, you should find the relevant quote.  I root for no one, nor does my faithful pooch, Karl Barx.  If there is any agreement between us, it would only be that Biden is too old for the rigors of another term.  Harris would do fine, but has suffered from the negative focus on her mannerisms and a general aura of unelectability.  She seems to get nervous, and media harpies love nothing more than projecting that into doom-filled scenarios.  I would see one of the tough seasoned Midwesterners like Whitmer or Klobuchar as possibly a candidate to root for, but Biden seems to see himself as not replaceable at this point.  It's this apparent overestimation of his own capacities that makes me wonder if four more years of Joe is really best for America.

So, for quite different reasons, we arrive at the same conclusion.

Four more years of Joe followed by eight years of Kamala is really best for America.  If you give Karl a milk bone I am sure he will explain for you why this is true.

It is not an either/or proposition, you know.

Give Karl a porterhouse and he will vote for the mummified corpse of Pat Buchanan.
