Shock Poll!

Illegal immigrants favor Biden over Trump.

Love that leap year; olympics, prez vote. Biden does not remember the border crisis. Refuses to see problems at the overwhelmed cities. Sorry new bill does not work. Does not close the border or deport mass quantities. Election this year not a treat.

In 1491 the border was secure. It has been open to travelers and settlers ever since.

I think most people who want to "close the border" have no fucking clue what that would entail, what that would functionally mean or what they are actually asking for. It is a talking point, not a policy. From where I live, actually closing the border would be an economic and humanitarian disaster.

The same is clearly true and well understood where I live.

We should just quarter them in all the churches, country clubs and golf courses. Much less new construction needed that way and we can keep the labor focused on affordable housing and better infrastructure, both of which are sorely needed.

Downtown empty office space should be considered as well. Facing the future means sensibly reconfiguring our society.

Times have changed.
Terrorists weren't hijacking planes and flying them into buildings in 1547....or 1947...or 1957.
Ah yes, 1950s and 1960s America, when the cars were nearly a block long, so much room, such big engines, men were men and women were women....and illegal immigration over the Mexican border was a trickle.

Well, that is what the Key West B&B had. Personally I do not like red delicious, but free is free.

This is 2024 not 1874. We do not need cheap labor and a lack of inexpensive housing. Put Gov. Abbott in charge he knows what to do. Bring in the armed forces, build walls, and ship them out. This is a crisis.

Guest worker visas.
No one getting in unless identified, thoroughly screened, and approved by the federal govt.
No one.
Identified, fingerprinted, face scanned, ...exactly like mrs bambu was as a tourist.

Secure borders. Sovereign borders. Not anarchy...with Mexican etc drug and human smuggling cartels running everything...like they are now
Youtube videos showed all.

I have a relative who loves the Keys but hates those roosters, he not being a morning person.  I seem to have gotten the farmer gene in the family and have no problem with a 530 wakeup call.  Spouse not so much.  What's funny is neither of us is really a morning person.  So I experience early waking as an unwanted and odious superpower.
