Paul Ryan is not voting for Trump.
It may come as news to the pea brains on ELBA that many principled republicans feel the same way.
Voting for Trump because he is GOP by ballot label means nothing.
Trump is not a Conservative in the mold of William Buckley , Ronald Reagan, HW Bush, etc.
Turning the party over to MAGA to defeat Biden is not worth it.
The polls ( scoreboards) seemingly go unnoticed to those who look behind the headlines.

Trump may be leading but in a two way race he polls at 46-47 per cent.
The election is not a two way race.

The SOLE dem strategy is to demonize Trump via Lawfare, pliable media, and Trump s own dialog.

Maybe the electorate will hold Biden to his record of failure.
It is more likely that educated and morally reliable GOP and Independent voters will opt for riding out the mess Biden created amid a divided Congress and a SCOTUS that adheres to the Constitution.
In short. Democracy is not at stake. We will survive. No need to compromise on those values
