Yes. I think a story like that would still be relatively easy to find. Maybe it is true. Since you are a racist I think you would want to work hard to confirm a story actually demonstrating a racist stereotype.

My dog is never left alone outside.
I come inside, she comes inside...and sleeps inside at night, and in the day if I go out.
Outside, I watch her and the yard like a hawk, looking for poison baits put there to kill her.
Very unlikely in my village, but the dog haters lurk about...can't be too careful.
Infected snails and slugs will kill a dog...or send it crazy/paralised, same as they do to humans, put the humans into wheelchairs.
But the most likely evil the bad people will do is steal your dog from your yard and sell it, you probably never going to see it again.
Never trust anyone.
