Michigan is now in the TRUMP win column.
And his lead in Arizona and Nevada is at 4 per cent in both.
Nate Silver said the chances of Trump sweeping all 7 Battlegrounds was entirely possible.
If it happens he would have an Electoral landslide ( 312-224) plus a 3-4 point win of the popular vote.
And for the first time he would top the 50 point bar in total votes.
The man you voted for and support won. You can admit it now.

LOL

I feel your pain but my non vote at the top of the ticket was justified.
My hope for the election was based on the down ticket. Flipping the Senate which succeeded and may give the GOP
53 or54 seats. That would give Trump better chances of winning confirmation of his cabinet.
It would also give the GOP the advantage in filling SCOTUS vacancies and ending democrat efforts to abolish the Filibuster.

BTW Harris on going feud with Catholics proved to be pretty stupid, politically.
According to a Washington Post exit poll
Trump won the national Catholic vote Tuesday by 56 percent to 41 percent. Similarly, an NBC exit poll found that Catholic voters favored Trump in 10 key swing states by a 15-point margin, with 56 percent of the vote going to the former president and only 41 percent going to Harris.

Bitch please.

White men, white WOMEN and Hispanics (who have followed the Italians and Irish before them and are now officially assimilated whites) voted for the felon who tried to overturn a free and fair election. Failing that he orchestrated an attempted coup. Now that is leadership.
The darling of Christian Evangelicals, who has five kids by three women, rawdogged a porn star while his third wife was caring for his newborn.

Yeah, I am salty today and will probably be for a while.

Meritocracy my ass.

Trump:
"God spared my life for a reason...to save our country."
Someone ask the egomaniac narcissistic jackass what God had against Corey Compatore to kill him like that?

If the Country needs saving it is from Trump not by him. And adding a messianic complex to his existing psychological issues is not a positive.

:oOne of the telling moments last night on how the race was going.
Jake Tapper on CNN asked the reporter in charge of the results map to display the states where Harris is out performing Biden by 3 per cent or more in 2020 in his race against Trump.

The map came up with ZERO states qualifying.

Shit is gonna get wild and a half.

That twenty something percent of the population that voted for him is not going to want to do another election ever again.

Best bet is he caves in on himself and peters out before inauguration.

Trump deserves no credit for the impotence of Harris in firing up her troops.

The religious wars in Europe were over quick and were not particularly bloody. Doing one here with the technology of today should be totally fine.

Trump loves Ted Nugent, and Trump played the song Stranglehold at some of his rallies. I sent a message to Ted Nugent and told him that we need for Sammy Hagar to plead for mercy for Mexico, Ted is friends with Sammy, and Ted is friends with Trump.

I watched Kamala's speech, it is sad, she would have done a great job. Meanwhile, Kamala can help to save her home of Oakland, etc. Oakland is in bad shape right now. I invited the San Miguel Corporation from the Philippines to come do Business here in Hollywood, and they can help to save Oakland, and San Francisco, and San Bernardino, etc, and they can sell beer and food at sporting events and at concerts, etc, and they are altruistic and they can help our communities. Kamala can also volunteer with the ACLU, etc.

Peace.

By the way, Malibu and Ventura are on fire right now, so sad, beautiful homes are going up in flames, these are dream homes going up in smoke. We need to do a better job of fire prevention in the future, with water sprinklers, and with herds of sheep, cattle, and goats, to reduce vegetation, and with more water dropping air craft, etc.

Salute,

Tony V.

Trump has been looking for an advisor on pedophile matters and Nugent should be able to slip into the role without a hitch.

What have we learned from this? (cue JK Simmons voice, in Burn After Reading coda) Anything?

That perception of the economy is what a candidate has to confront and talk to.  Not actual indicators, because dry facts bore Americans and they don't really care about most of what comes out of Trump's piehole.  Even dementia word salad.

I think Bernie said some sharp things on the post mortem. (from AP)

Quote
Sen. Bernie Sanders, the Vermont independent and former Democratic primary candidate, had warned Harris before Election Day that she was focusing too much on flipping Republican votes and not enough on pocketbook issues. He issued a statement excoriating party leadership.

It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them. First, it was the white working class, and now it is Latino and Black workers as well. While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change. And theyre right.

It is painful to hear that, but important.  Bernie had some more blunt words.

Will the big money interests and well-paid consultants who control the Democratic Party learn any real lessons from this disastrous campaign?  Will they understand the pain and political alienation that tens of millions of Americans are experiencing? Do they have any ideas as to how we can take on the increasingly powerful Oligarchy which has so much economic and political power? Probably not.

We had a good District Attorney here in Los Angeles who was trying to remodel our justice system, and thus we have had fewer people in prison and in jail, maybe we can destroy the prison in Lancaster, California, and we can build a Medical School on that property. And with fewer prisoners means that we have had fewer workers to do fire prevention work, thus we need to bring in sheep, cattle, and goats, to eat the vegetation, etc, the Basques can bring in herds of sheep, cattle, and goats to reduce fire danger. Anyhow, we elected a new "Law and Order" District Attorney now who is going to be tough on crime. We need to have better schools, etc, and we need to raise better children instead of building prisons.

These fires in California right now are horrible, these are dream homes being destroyed, we need to be more pro-active in the future to prevent these fires from happening and spreading. And we do not have free prison labor anymore to do fire prevention work, so we need cattle, sheep, and goats, to eat the vegetation, etc, and we can have water sprinklers and more water dropping air craft, etc.

And we need to stop Trump from being on a war path against Mexico, and Sammy Hagar loves Mexico, and Sammy would be a good Ambassador to Mexico, and Sammy can plead for mercy and can plead for good relations with Mexico. And Sammy sings the song, "Don't mess with my paradise, I asked you once, I asked you nice..." Sammy needs to speak up now in defense of Mexico.

And Ted Nugent is a good man, and Ted loves the Black people, Ted was friends with Chuck Berry, and Little Richard, and he met Hendrix, etc, Ted is from Detroit, and Ted loves the Black people. Sammy Hagar loves the Black people too, and Sammy loves the Mexicans. It would be good if Ted and Sammy had voices when dealing with Trump. And Trump loves Oprah, Oprah can help humanity.

Salute,

Tony V.

Well, yes, it is a bit ridiculous: a strong economy with low unemployment and rising wages but two highly visible stressors on working class - high housing cost and inflation - which all over the globe seems to cause  incumbent rejection.  People don't blame global economic forces or corporate greed or damaged supply chains, they instead scapegoat whoever is in office.  Like I said, understanding economics takes time and an affinity for facts, and most people don't have those.  Most do not see much beyond their own lives, and so are vulnerable to liars with megaphones and easy one-note explanations.
Idiocracy is here.

Captured media is how this happened. It is why the GOP has survived so long and why the American experiment is coming to an end. The only people who can reach a decent plurality of the voters like them best enslaved and at war against themselves.
