it seems the NHL has scheduled a hearing today for one of the many non-calls on Blues head-hunting hits last night

it would have been better to get them right the 1st time.

"Blues center Ivan Barbashev has been suspended one game for an illegal check to the head, the NHL department of player safety announced Friday.

No penalty was called on the play.

“Barbashev delivers a high, forceful hit that makes Johansson’s head the main point of contact on a hit where such head contact was avoidable,” the league said in a video. “It is important to note that the head is the main point of contact on this play.”

NHL trying to fix the outcome.

Instead of allowing the Refs to break it.

Boston Whinger.

Same old, same old.

You were the one whining about the decision to penalize what should have been a penalty at the time.

I was just playing with your verbiage.

You can't take it.

Its not Boston wingers i'm concerned about rather Bruin D-men who have been targeted by the St Looey Goons. They knocked Griz out and have been trying to take Krug out. St Looey is a dirty fucking team.

Game 7 may well be a fucking war with the Goons head-hunting and knowing whistles usually get pocketed in Game 7s.

It is not the end yet, though it sure looks like it is going to be!

Congratulations to the St. Louis Blues and their fans on their first ever Stanley Cup!!

I cannot imagine how exciting it must be for them, though I would guess it is similar to, but slightly stronger than, how we Red Sox fans felt after exorcising the Curse or how the Patsies fans felt upon winning that first Super Bowl in their history.

It has been a convincing effort by the Blues and they have earned this Cup.

Bruins choked. Couldn't happen to a more entitled group of "fans".

Heh

You show all the grace of the average warthog.

I don't know how you conclude that they choked, given the rest of the series and the rest of the Cup matches, but honestly, Ham, I don't really care, because reasoning has nothing to do with it beyond that it was a Boston team. Had they won, you would have been back with "that was how the NHL wanted it" the way you did a couple games ago. Now that that has been disproven, you fall back on "choked."

Had they won, the person who would have choked would have been you, on all the bile you have inside.

Had we been a minute behind your post, you would have talked about our lack of being good losers and then when we posted identical things to what we posted, you would have claimed credit for making us say crap we didn't believe.

Your schtick is old and getting older. You lack creativity in your gratuitous attacks as surely as you lack substance. Your approach to Boston is the equivalent of Ward's approach to politics. Trite, trivial, and about as clever as a rock.

Dull, Hamilton. The only time you leave dull is when you cross into personally threatening stuff. Even then, the content and intent are dull, but you are enough of a loose cannon that no responsible person with folks he cares about can ignore you.

Which is what you crave - attention. "Pay attention to me! I am significant!"

You are only significant in your own mind, and even then you aren't convinced of it.

Go find the half a clue you used to have, but lost.

At home, Game 7, favorites going into series, end of period one, down 2-0.

That's a choke. People who follow hockey, regularly, know that and understand it.

Don't try to deflect and make it all about me.

A straight and simple gag.

Shut up and handle it, Joshie.

The Bruins dominated the play in the first period but were stymied by a hot goalie who "stood on his head".

It happens.

All the time.

The big play in that game was the 2nd goal on a brain-fart by Marchand with 10 seconds to go in the period.

The Blues, up 2-0, then played in a defensive shell for the next 40 minutes, protecting the lead, and frustrating the Bruins.

They won.

And the home team lost 5 of the 7 games in the series.

And troll you know shit about a game you probably did not watch and less about a game you never played.

But you are obssessed I'll give you that.

If you had any articles supporting your position, you would have posted it.

Home ice has meant nothing all series long for both teams and the Blues' road record was better than their home record or the Bruin's home record in the playoffs.

But you would know that if you paid attention to hockey other than when the Bruins (or maybe the Flyers) were in it.

It IS about you, dolt.

No self-concept, just knee-jerk reactions, with emphasis on jerk.

And a reputation well earned by you.

Played in college. Know that teams who go into the corners win. Bruins were beaten there. Too scared, likely.

Sorry that you have to show once again that you can't handle valid criticisms of your team. Sad.

If you see Marchand on the golf course, hand him a tissue from me, thanks!
