Recently the Mets fans mantra was "play meaningful games in September" - and this has also been a negative cry vs management when that goal is not met.

Happy that "play meaningful games the final week" is in full swing under the new management team.

Hoping WC standings in NL read after today:

MLW
WAS
NYM     -4
CHC   -4
PHI     -5

- Phils likely need all 5 vs WAS (play one double dip).  Mets all 4 vs MIA
- not counting on MLW sliding at all
