Cora suspended only for actions with the Astros, not the Red Sox.

Video replay system operator suspended from the Red Sox.

They didn't try to do it much. They succeeded even less. And neither Cora nor most of the players had the foggiest that it was going on. (If I were one of the uninformed players, I might be a tad miffed!) And they did not do it during the post season in 2018 and (as one can tell from the results) did not do it in 2019.

The Dodgers lost the World Series to the Red Sox on their own.

Plus, the ball was never inappropriately deflated, so there was nothing for Brady to know about.

Hearing the Players Association has cost amateur players a boatload of cash

Backstory is MLB wanted to slash slot money allotted for rounds 6-10 this year by 50%.  Rounds 1-5 would stay the same

Association said NO.  And MLB subsequently ELIMINATED all rounds past 5, making all players after this free agents with a Max bonus of 20k

30 million dollars was the total.  Thus 15 mil was declined and 180 players lose the thrill of having their name called

Average 6th round bonus had been in the 240k to 250k range.  Those players now Max at 20 k.

Boston, Tampa, Yankees in with Nationals, Phils, Mets

Atlanta gets to go to Midwest?

I thought it was dumb.

Baltimore, not Tampa. Tampa should be with Miami and Atlanta.

I think they might be better off doing 3 ten team leagues. But... I would rather have a 78 game season than none, if and only if they can keep the teams (players, coaches, and staff (top to bottom) safe.

Not the bizarrest story I've read today - that goes to the NYT and their piece on a lawsuit concerning animalistic sex and relationships in fanfic-based novels and whether or not anybody owns the tropes being discussed and can they be copyrighted.

But still... why did the Cleveland Indians insert images of Nicolas Cage into 39 of their lineups in 2019?!

Have fan gatherings in marbled halls.   Serve marbled beef.   Carl Sagan fans can support a team using "pale blue dot" marbles.   And Texas will put a new spin on "Aggies. "
