The current crop of Red Sox starting pitchers are uninspiring. Yes, I know we are impacted by the virus, but even so - these are still our 4th and 5th starters, in theory, and... they look like they're doing their first spring training starts!

It was a joke.

But the Grady Little syndrome was no joke.

Joe's job is safe. It's his life that's at stake: https://www.foxnews.com/sports/yankees-phillies-game-postponed-marlins-coronavirus-outbreak-report

I'm guessing this isn't the summer that Jetes imagined back in February.

As long as the books dont show a much greater loss he'll be OK.

Businessman - not baseball man.

Because people follow the game to see what business is doing.

I was referring to Jete's was probably looking forward to the start of the season and his induction (around now) into the HoF. Instead he's dealing with his team players somehow being empowered to decide to ignore the fact that many had tested postive  but decided to say fuck it, lets play, and risking others getting infected and potentially shutting down the entire season.

The chain of command from the team receiving the medical information should have gone to the respective players, the FO and the FO should have told MLB-Manfred immediately. It was a huge fucking screw-up.

I haven't read where the chain broke-ie who decided to let the players make the medical call to play despite being infected.

it was beyond irresponsible.

IMO Jete's as CEO owns this.

I haven't read anything, which is why I'm questioning the role of Marlin ownership and management in allowing infected players to play a game and put others at risk.

what is the approved protocol?

And kid anytime you want to point out specifically anything I post which is you believe to be either incorect, false or intentionally misleading, please do.

And I will explain any post that you do not understand, the facts, logic etc.  and defend such, clarify or print a retraction if necessary.

And generally I label my opinions as opinions.

But to defend myself against an empty cheap shot as you just leveled is a waste of my time.

kid while its high time you grew up, I fear you will always be a child.

Former Cleveland Indians manager John McNamara, well known for his excellence in managing late game defensive replacements, has died.
