If anybody has any interest in Stanton (I hear all sorts of laughter) they're welcome to him.

I'd like to think that managers would be given a break because of the weirdness of the season, but I'm not sure that sentiment is one that owners have.

Owners are owners. And some are blaming the GM on this Yankee failure.

He looked clueless in that last AB. Not sure what the market is for a guy who plays 1/3 of a given season and wants to act like he's the team's leader in the clubhouse.

Stanton's K last night reminded me of Carlos Beltran's infamous knee-buckler hook he took to end the series against the Cards.

There's no market for him and there remains no point in having he and Judge on the same team.

I see no reason to have two guys who miss as much time as those guys do.

How many years u got left with the duo?
I do think they should let Boone chime in if they are thinking of dealing one of them, rather than just firing him.

Then fire him.

Stanton's not opting out so he's a Y through 2027

Judge is a FA in '23, but he'll likely doing something l-t before that.

Unless he breaks before that.

That 9th inning turned the Braves-Dodgers game from a tight situation to a conclusive finish in a hurry!

And... a first inning error set Tampa Bay up for victory - and a 2-0 lead in the series.

And now Joe Morgan.

If I were a former baseball start in my 70s, I am not sure I would go anywhere without my physician.

Black ballplayers getting it worse. Brock, Gibson, Morgan.

RIP, Joe, the best all-around second baseman we will likely see in our lifetimes.
