Say hey to 90.

Mays hit .315 and averaged 39 home runs, 25 stolen bases, 109 RBI and 118 runs scored between 1955 and 1964 for the Giants, but didn't win a single MVP in that span.

Brewers came to Philly with the best record in the NL, tied with SF. They leave having been swept by the Phillies in 4 games.

There is something to be said about catching teams on your schedule at the right time.

Phils now go on the road to ATL, DC, and Dunedin, FL (TOR).

The results of that trip will tell a story of its own, especially with IL continuing to grow.

Cleveland playing inspired baseball. Being no-hit for 8 innings, they give up the go-ahead run in the 9th on an error after a groundball to the pitcher.

Chance for Miley to get the second no-no in MLB this week.

Now, 3-0 Reds, and still batting.

Meanwhile, Phils get 5th in a row with 12-2 win over ATL.

Astros show their feelings are hurt:

https://www.bleachernation.com/cubs/2021/05/07/houston-astros-reportedly-complained-to-mlb-about-other-teams-fans-taunting-them/

Although the irony of Yankees fans complaining about cheating to win is a bit much----

four of those championships came in the steroid era. The Mitchell Report was released on 12/13/07 and named the following current and former Yankee players as likely users of steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs). The numbers in parenthesis indicate the years the players were on a World Series winning Yankees team.

Ricky Bones (1996)
Kevin Brown
Jose Canseco (2000)
Roger Clemens (2000)
Bobby Estalella
Jason Giambi
Jason Grimsley (2000)
Glenallen Hill (2000)
Darren Holmes (1998)
David Justice (2000)
Chuck Knoblauch (1998, 1999, 2000)
Josias Manzanillo
Hal Morris
Daniel Naulty (1999)
Denny Neagle (2000)
Andy Pettitte (1996, 1998, 1999, 2000)
Gary Sheffield
Mike Stanton (1998, 1999, 2000)
Randy Velarde
Ron Villone
Rondell White
Todd Williams

Indians, if my math is right, are on pace to be no hit 10 times this year. Which is in the realm of possibility.
