Red Sox getting a new uni to honor the Boston Marathon.

Looks like they're leading the Tour de France!

I like the yellow and blue color combo, but it reminds me of UCLA or the Chargers. I didn't get the connection to the marathon. I thought if they wanted to honor the marathon, they should license the BAA marathon logo, that might have been pretty cool, but Addidas already has a deal with the BAA.

I heard that with shipping the jersey costs $435. F'ing ridiculous.

Jerseys like that should be worn when there are kegs and styrofoam coolers strategically placed near the foul lines.

It does not look like Max Scherzer is fooling anybody today.  4 HRs in 2+ innings.

They kind of remind me of the clown costume unis worn by the White Sox and Astros in the 70s.

Good team.

Good hitting team.

The pitching remains suspect, with potential.

Social media is a very dangerous thing with which to play, especially in baseball!

Atlanta remains winless. Curse of the Georgia voting laws?

Re:  Nats-Braves

I see the child Soto is already in a rift with an opponent.  Seems Will Smith and El Juano were in a disagreement over where the child should be standing while the veteran P took his warmups.  This in a prior contest.  Then Juan ripped his tits for a dinger, barking around the bases afterward.

Shift to yesterday - Smith had nowhere to put Sotochild - 1st and second none out, tie game, bottom 9.  And Juan won the day again.

Let the season simmer, youngster.  Ease into it.  You will have your rough days.

Will the real Red Sox please stand up?

Swept by the O's. Swept the Rays. No hitting, clutch or otherwise. Clutch hitting abounds.

Predictions of a roughly .500 season would seem consistent with the first six games, but it is way too early to know what's going to happen.
