You gotta give it to MLB they found a way to devalue both HRs and no-hitters

Yeah, but think of how fast the games are going!

Not fast in Toronto Dunedin!

Congratulations to the Red Sox on winning a game it would have been easy to lose.

Quite the game in Philadelphia - a tight win for the Red Sox.

The Phils' bullpen was solid - but for a 3 pitch sequence.

You can catch a team at exactly the right time.

With the string of injuries to key players this season so far, I am surprised the Phillies record is as good as it is.

I was mostly watching the Celts-Nets last night, with an ocaissonal channel-surf look-in, watched the 9th and it was pretty good.

Semi-interesting factoid, almost 1/3 into the season, ALL AL East teams, including the Os, have winning road record.

One thing that I’ve  noticed about the Phillies the last few years, pre-dating Girardi, is that they appear to be an awful fundamentals team. Mistakes on the bases, missing the cut-off man, that sort of thing.

I think what you are saying is you cant win series without your catcher.

Be a better fan, admit to a rough patch and expect more from your earners.

I think you should figure out which team you root for before you te others anything about their team.

Sorry to have missed yesterday's Phillies win over the Red Sox. On any given day...

On a related note, for all that a 474ft. homer is impressive (and it is), I still don't understand why the Red Sox think Franchy Cordero is the answer to anything.

His hitting is anemic... but it has almost always been anemic!

Even when compared to such titans as Hernandez and Renfroe, his career numbers suck, let alone this year.

Marwin Gonzalez can at least play a bunch of positions...

And to give Kiké his due, he's been a better hitter thus far than his career would have suggested.

But why did we stockpile a bunch of sub-300 OBP folks?!

I never thought BOS figured Franchy to be an answer to anything, except "what can we get for this overrated puss-armed lefthanded hitter that thought it wise to balloon himself".
