And Joe Buck just delivered a eulogy to Remy on tonight's World Series broadcast.

to quote Buck, "a sad, sad loss for all of baseball, and beloved in all New England"

Quite a few retired ballplayers die each season.  Maybe Joe would like to name some of the others in the next broadcast.

I thought you were leaving for SOSH. Do you need help packing?

Kid probably got lost.

They won't allow my handle, so...

Nothing to do with '86 Mets allowed.

I just registered Buckner's Bad Ankles as a back-up handle @ SoSH.

Sosh is defined by the Urban Dictionary as ...Socially off- socially awkward. A person who doesn't know how to act around people. Usually stares and awkwardly tries to jump into conversation.

That pretty much describes banks.

No wonder he like SoSH.

Heh

LMAO

Some fact checking of the troll

I know its meaningless but I had never seen that definition, so I checked.

The troll's source:

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Sosh

Short for the word social, meaning to go out and socialise with other people.

"mate you going out tonight? Because i am so game for the sosh!"

"Im having such a good time the sosh is electric!"

Poor troll even his rebuttals are frauds.

Big surprise.

You do a poor job of imitating Ham. Stick to Ward.

And not very many of those retired ballplayers (a) die during the World Series and (b) were also long time announcers.

You are such an asshole, Kid.

And the reason you decided against SoSH is that they won't put up with your bullshit and I will.

Seems pretty reasonable to me, Kid. I'd likely have done the same.

But I doubt this will come back to bite Baker.

How do you remove a guy and replace him with an arm that may not have it tonight?

Ridiculous, Baker.

I would think Henry Aaron deserves a mention.  As does Eddie Robinson, who died this month.

Perhaps he knows something you don't know.

Just the slightest chance, huh?

You must have missed the Henry Aaron mentions, Kid.

Seems to have worked on on this occasion.

Hard to believe that the 'Stros made it all the way to Game 6 of the World Series without Dusty Baker's having access to the hot line with you!

I don't think Remy will get a statue, but maybe with the money he has helped raise for cancer awareness, there will be a Jerry Remy patient waiting room, where parents and sick kids can watch the Sox at the Dana Farber Cancer Center.

Just like Mussolini.

Mythologizing and honoring crooks and the morally bankrupt in Boston IS a thing.

Yawkey Way, Joe Kennedy and Family, etc.

Joe Buck only got his job due to nepotism. Like Chris Wallace.

And Josh.

Guess you failed to scroll down the page, illiterate one.

Socially off- socially awkward. A person who doesn't know how to act around people. Usually stares and awkwardly tries to jump into conversation. They smile about everything even when they don't know what's going on.
"He was just standing there at the party trying to secretly take pics of us"

"Man, that guy is sosh"

Even more amusingly, if you'd scrolled further you'd have seen this.

very stuck up, don't let anyone join anymore, last time I checked.

So...
You lose another one.

Do you ever get tired of your rented mule status?

Of course you don't because you're such a jackass.

Bye, mule.
