Today's quiz (not given by Jeff Passan)

12 players have spend their entire career with the same MLB team, minimum ten big league seasons

Now give me the top 5, based on number of years

Now I know the correct answer.

And your number is wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Unless you meant to include the word "active" in your post, of course.

In which case, Mauer would be one of them. Yadi, whom I mentioned earlier for his speed, is another. And King Felix is a third.

Pedey is up there. Don't know if he makes it

But again, I am almost certain it is more than 12, given the constraints you listed.

just 12 guys on the same team for 10+ years can't be right.

Sox LF from 1939-1989 take up 3 spots.

Like I said - he has to have meant active players. That way, while it is more than 12, 12 would be close.

There are 18 over TWENTY years if we mean all players, instead of active.

the constant about kid is he's too dumb to understand he asked a flawed and incorrect question.

He heard it, didn't question it, believed it, and just repeated it.

So, any 12, not just the top twelve. And you don't know how many there are.

Where did you get this one from?

Dustin Pedroia in top five
Joe Mauer in the top five
King Felix in the top five
Yadier Melina in the top five
David Wright, top five if he counts.
Ryan Braun
Joey Votto
Brett Gardner
Alexei Ramirez
Clayton Kershaw
Homer Bailey
Player to be named later

Would Andre Ethier have counted in June? Does David Wright count now? I listed Pedey, but does he count?
