I'm not sure if Kid got my point which was simply that the Yankees won the World Series with Brian Doyle playing for the supposedly indispensable Willie Randolph.  I don't want Ronald Torryes and Neil Walker to play second (Torres moving to short) for an entire season, but it could work for a short stretch of time.
