And the easy 2nd guess was why was Severino pitching in the 4th, he had nothing last night.

And Booney's is rightly catching heat for the late hook on Severino and his choice to put out fire with the gas of Lynn.

heh

GLS.

Now that's a rejoinder Red State Ward would envy.

Brief, meaningless, and largely irrelevant to the discussion.

Most baseball fans, pundits, kibbitzers, basically anyone with an understanding of the game, understand the 2nd guess as a part of the baseball experience.

But for reasons unknown, you don't.

SSDD

GLS...and the game isn't over, yet:

https://www.mlb.com/news/cc-sabathia-struggles-in-game-4-of-alds/c-297518200

Sabathia left the game after allowing three runs on five hits and two walks, striking out one batter and hitting another. With their season on the line, the Yankees went to their bullpen to open the fourth, but some will surely wonder whether Boone should have had a quicker hook in an elimination game.

Poor sports.

Bottom line, you lose because the other team was better.

You couldn't handle losing and blamed Grady Little, and this guy and others can't handle losing, and are already blaming Boone.

Sad.

Troll you're just a clueless obssessed troll

Fans talk about the game, because its fun to talk about games

you just try to suck the fun from it

but you can't

you just suck

Sale coming in for the 8th.

Gutsy move.

Opinions?

It makes me nervous, but I think I was nervous, anyway - and who did I expect him to bring in?!

Cora had brass balls, and every button pushed seemed to work.

I was nervous about that one though.

Hechevarria has to tag on that

The fly to left?

He would have been a dead duck at 3rd.

Thanks.

Houston is going to be a tough nut to crack. But not needing Sale in an ALDS game 5 helps a lot!

Random thought on the final out.

Imagine the shit-show if the call was "safe" and tieing run scores, and then upon review, it was reversed to "out"

In Y-Stadium that would have been nuts.

See, banks? That's what you do. You don't second guess and blame the manager the rest of your life like a perpetually brain injured dimwit.

Yank just taught you a lesson, but you won't get it. As usual.

yank continued the practice of what most of us have done for years.

Congratulate the fans of the winning team.

But where you are terribly confused is,  offering congratulations for a hard fought series, is not a substitute for objective analysis of the game.

Civility and intelligence are not mutually exclusive.

Now i understand that objective analysis is not your strong point, as you are often blinded by the tunnel vision afforded by having your head so far up your ass. So you might want to consider removing your head from your butt, and wiping the shit from your eyes. That may help developing another perspective thats a little less tainted.

Or you continue to be a clueless moron troll with your head up your ass.

Doesn't really matter much to me.

Enjoy your day.

Astros about to close out Tribe.

10-2 in 8th.

Pretty good choice at +250 (to win AL)

If you can get Astros +250 jump on it. I suspect thats an old #.

heh

yeah, like when I stated the bet back in April.

Pre-season the Astros were +500 +600 or thereabouts.

I've no idea or recall if you made the +250 bet or not. I suspect you're bullshitting again.

However I do recall you recently said you liked the Indians for the pennant at +1000 .

Did you bet that one too?

or do  you only bets winners?

heh

As suggested yesterday for the pennant: Astros are slight favrites at about -115 (-120) Sox +100  (-110 depending on the Astro's line)

As the lines suggest it should be a pretty good series, I'd give the edge to the Astro's mostly on the better starting pitching.

But if Price can revert from his zombie state and Eovaldi...

There's going to be a lot of really good players on the field.

I'm pumped.

Leave bank alone.   He knows Timlin and Williamson were getting Nick Johnson, Jeter, Ruth, Gehrig, Dimaggio and Mantle to end the '03 playoffs.
