But it sure is a good thing we had Price going! His pitching line is a tribute to his prior success against the Astros and the pride he carried with him into tonight's game!
4.2 innings, 4 runs (all earmed), 5 hits, 4 walks, 4 strike outs. The Astros batted a mere .263 against him. Yeah, sure, his OBA was .391, but so what? And his SLG was .474, but that doesn't mean much! The OPS was .865 for the night and WHIP was only 1.5.
And he
did bring his 2018 post season ERA down to 9.95, which is lower than his 2016 post-season ERA for the Sox, even if it is higher than every other season's or series' ERA for him.
Clearly, he has earned another start in this series and perhaps the Game 1 slot should the Sox reach it!
Right, Kiid?
