No one has been arrested for violating the Sports Bribery Act in relation to a professional sporting event -- ever.

I wanted to vote Sox in 6, but the poll closed.   Anyway,  may the team that abandoned its home city receive its turn on the wheel of karma.
My least and fourth least favorite teams in baseball. I am rooting for small and highly localized earthquake in the Chavez Ravine area.

It's that whole "the first game started" thing.

And the Sox scored a run maybe a minute after I closed it!

I'm not a big fan of ballet, can't tell the players without a program, but I understand the leap, is known as the "Grand Jeter".

Taking nothing from Derek's dive into the stands, or the fact that he could not leap to his left, maybe its time to rename the classic move and catch the "Grand Tendi"

He needs to make the back leg the front leg, WP!

The other two have their right legs forward and left back.

He must have been left back from that grade.

Classy move.

I suspect Mookie would have been happier had Lou not put it out there.

.......with a negative DWAR.

Which if you've seen Benintendi plays LF, should make you question how DWAR is calculated, and whether there is anything particular about Fenway's LF which might effect calcualtions, or whether playing next to a GG-calibre CF might impact put-outs recorded.

FWIW Yaz, generally considered the gold standard of Sox LF, won his 2nd GG in 1965 with a DWAR of negative 1.0,

AB is in the top three - be happy - and he may just get it - sometimes the new guy stands out -

I never said he was a bad OF

Has a popgun arm - and yeah, I know - 11 assists.

The other 2 guys are obviously top notch.

For the record - I was thinking Moreland and Betts - we shall see.

Kid

I really don't care one way or another who wins GG,

I was more curious about your pissing on 10D for the past 2 years, and thought it serendipitous that within 24 hours of you giving me a resason for your 10D disdain, his D, het gets named a GG Finalist.

I thought it was pretty funny.

I generally agree with you, Betts, and Moreland.

I'd like to see JBJ's body of work in CF get recognized.

and Jeter will likley edge out Lindor.
